the third terminal is for temperature sensor,which indicates if ur battery is full charged,and automatically stops charging in case of mobile charger.without it,the best is u will get damage ur battery, or worse the battery explodes.apply this removing ur battery,and sticking the wire using a gum-tape.

If you do this plug the back of the USB cable into a usb charging block that charges you'r cellphone with a USB cable plugged into it then connect the power brick into a wall out let then put the wires on the positive and negative points on the battery and that shooed charge the phone battery without blowing out the USB ports on you'r laptop or desktop computer

@Ijerksolegit Def not dude. the battery was detached @ 1:33 so the phone couldnt be on. USB cables have 4 wires RED=5 VDC, BLK=ground, WHT=data+, GRN=data- . . . a lot of wall chargers charge at 4.5-9.5VDC/500-1000MA. it works. its not a great idea tho. dont cross the wires on the battery terminal or move them around while putting your battery on. i would think it'd be easy to fry a battery that way.

but for a quick call if you really need it this does the trick.

usb provides 5 volt, a battery runs typycally on 3.4 so it works aslong you don't fry it.

This is a nice way to cause the battery to catch fire. You should remove this video before dumbasses are going to burn their house down because they got the polarity incorrect . Li-Po Li-Ion batteries require special chargers, and can easily explode/catch fire if charged incorrectly. Ask anybody that works around model planes/ RC cars.

if you have your charger but it just doesnt work, you can do the same thing he did but cut off the end of your charger that plugs into your phone. Then connect the red and black wires of the USB cord and the end of your charger that goes into your phone. that way you know if its charging. just dont let the red and black wires touch either way. also keep it unplugged from your computer while you're doing it.

I can't believe it worked! Lol. How crazy. I would recommend charging it between 25-45 minutes. The volts in a USB is much higer then a phone/charger and you surely wouldn't want your phone to explode when your initial plan was to charge it.
