Listen to your coaches, tackle from the bottom up (don't go for the huge hit every play), ALWAYS get to your drop in the pass, and get crazy against the big runners. Reads are the most important thing for Linebacker, also; DON'T run into the middle of the line, read, strafe down the line, and then ATTACK the ball.

Don't be afraid to tackle, you get hurt less if you commit into the tackle. Read the play and wrap up when you do make a tackle. This was my first year playing and I play both Jv and Varsity. Plus gotta be in good shape so you can run fast.
