  • Great video! My p4a video was also on love146! DFTBA

  • @barlowgirl61087 thanks for the info :)

  • @ ok, i apologize for sounding ignorant on what i said earlier, and i understand how serious these kinda of things are.

  • This is such a good cause. Supported :)

  • so... you... accomplished nothing while you were over there? except looking at a slave girl and doing nothing so that she could be raped potentially thousands of times over the course of the next 365 days? great! nice video!

  • @robotclubmember She spread the word so that other can help. What have you accomplished by attempting to discourage someone who is genuinely trying to help?

  • @IIoWoII haha. I didn't travel with them to visit the brothel, I'm just a supporter of their cause. I did my best to portray Rob story through pictures that I found on flickr that were able to be used under creative commons, it was just the best picture I could find with a red light district feel to it.

  • @barlowgirl61087 I bet if you castrate them; then throw those fucking rapist on a pile a burning tires that will send a clear message to those that think of hurting children in the future. Hurting a child means death plain and simple i don't treat rapist and child molesters like people, like you seem to do. There fucking parasites nothing more. So you keep sing your songs and send your money to some charity hasn't changed anything before and it wont now!

  • @project4awesome I can never say thank you enough to you guys for featuring my video! Words can't express how grateful I am to have the opportunity to share the great work that Love146 with such a large audience and if it weren't for you all this never would have happened. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

  • @barlowgirl61087 Why don't you look into your children's while there getting raped everyday by perverts and tell them that shit. words and charity means nothing to those children they are in a living nightmare and they need someone with some real ball to get the out of there.. I have brains enough to know when there a time for talk and a time for action. These people that hurt children robbing then of there innocents need to be dealt with and made as an example to those that hurt children.

  • @Hgskies ummm.. i'd be happy to know what stereotypes you think are there. I have references for all of my stats and the stories are true.

  • @LiliFromHali haha... yah i fixed it... 'tis what i get for doing most of my p4a video work between 2 and 5 am...

  • @barlowgirl61087 It's great that you're spending so much of your time trying to help others. I went to the website, because I wanted to help too, but they don't have task forces in Canada. :(

  • @LiliFromHali well keep an eye out and spread the word. they just put the taskforce webpage up in november, and there are new taskforces starting all over the place. There are also tons of other organizations that work in the field of human trafficking here's a list of several organizations that are working on this issue. Best wishes!

  • @barlowgirl61087 Thanks so much. I'll definitely do that.

  • @MalfoyIsOurKing what kind of a nerdfighter do you think I am? It's ok. I was posting alphabets from harry potter on other peoples videos...

a is for accio, be is for bellatrix, c is for cedric, d is for dumbledore, e is for expeliarmus... etc.

  • @SpinnerMC glad I could be a part of that! Thanks for viewing and commenting!

  • @F00lyJ00ly so glad to hear that! Keep spreading the word and DFTBA!

  • @pontpiggy :D :D :D glad to be of help! Love146 is a truely fantastic group of people!

  • Project for Awesome is AWESOME

  • @mrwilliamwonder 13 year olds being forced or lured into prostitution is a crime! I said nothing in my video about adults who are in prostitution, although many times women are trapped in lives of prostitution physically, emotionally and mentally. As I've begun to learn more about Human Trafficking my eyes have been opened to the terrible situations that women and children find themselves in around the globe.

  • @malakoza I like it too! It's my favorite part of my room! :D

  • @MrReptahhr “Because we went in as part of an ongoing, undercover investigation on this particular brothel, we were unable to immediately respond. Evidence had to be collected in order to bring about a raid, and eventually justice on those running the brothel. It is an immensely difficult problem when an immediate response cannot address an emergency. Some time later, there was a raid on this brothel and children were rescued. But the girl who wore #146 was no longer there."

  • @BRobMorris HaHa! Nice! :D

  • @MalfoyIsOurKing Thanks for your kind words and thanks for watching and commenting!

  • @120jordgz Thanks for your feedback and thanks for watching and commenting! I thought about putting some music in under the statistics but just didn't have time to find a song that fit, let alone one I had rights to use. Next year I hope to team up with my task force and make an even better video, i'll keep your advice in mind. :D

  • @Empep12 Your help is most appreciated! Thank you!

  • @FredBACoelho Thank you for your feedback and thanks for watching my video!

  • @AuschwitzSummerCamp You are Canadian and there is SO MUCH you can do! Spread the word, team up with abolitionist organizations, educate yourself. Change.org has an entire section of their site devoted to Human Trafficking, check it out and find a project you can work on! DFTBA! :D

  • @passingforperfection The Not For Sale campaign is just as awesome and worthy of support. thanks for your work towards aboliton!

  • @whtisurproblem Yeah.... I didn't expect quite so large of a response, nor to be linked to by the official p4a channel. I didn't turn of email notifications for comments on this video. Oops. :D

  • @coldironhands1 fail. legalizing prostitution would only give the traffickers an more open field to do the despicable things that they do.

  • @silverheart95 Thank YOU for your kind words. Also, thank you for watching my video! Hope your p4a was full of awesome!

  • @MevsGoliath I think 30 people shared your dilemma. Everyone keeps hating on the dislikes, but I don't particularly like the topic of this video either. :D

  • @HolyPwngeSucker She gave the founders of Love146 and everyone else who has been inspired by the story something to rally behind.

"We have taken her number so that we remember why this all started. So that we must tell her story. It is a number that was pinned to one girl, but that represents the millions enslaved. We wear her number with honor, with sorrow, and with a growing hope. Her story can be a different one for so many more."

  • @BikeTrial1995 John Green isn't really so scary. Although he is TALL. I met him once, though I'm sure he doesn't remember me.

  • @autodork I went back and foreth on how much to put into the video and how much to leave up to others to find. I'm happy with what I settled on, the detractors can stuff it! :D haha

  • @BeatitudeMusic09 We are fighting it! Rob Morris often says that "the abolition of modern day slavery is not a good idea. It is a necessity." I can agree with him more!

  • ...Some time later, there was a raid on this brothel and children were rescued. But the girl who wore #146 was no longer there. We do not know what happened to her, but we will never forget her. She changed the course of all of our lives."

  • To take all of them away. I wanted to break through the glass to tell her to keep fighting. To not give up. To tell her that we were coming for her…"

Evidence had to be collected in order to bring about a raid, and eventually justice on those running the brothel. It is an immensely difficult problem when an immediate response cannot address an emergency....

  • @aIIesanders i didn't give the complete story in my video, Rob said the following as well:

"...All of these emotions begin to wreck you. Break you. It is agony. It is aching. It is grief. It is sorrow. The reaction is intuitive, instinctive. It is visceral. It releases a wailing cry inside of you. It elicits gut-level indignation. It is unbearable. I remember wanting to break through the glass. To take her away from that place. To scoop up as many of them as I could into my arms...

  • @sonicmik7 haha... it's just habbit i suppose, it's what i call it! :D

  • @StyxAnStones Money is great, and helps Love146 accomplish alot of things, but there are other ways to help! Get involved in your area, or just simply make sure that you know about the issue of Human Trafficking and tell others about it!

  • @spiffytiffy2007 Thanks for watching my video! Love146 is certainly not failing in their attempts to change the world! I hope you find a way to effect change in your area!

  • @joralex many times they are there and not enforced properly and sometimes they just aren't in existence at all. There is a movement around the world to place better laws into effect on the local, state, national and international levels. Ohio, the state I'm from, just passed a new law to make prosecution of human trafficking a stand alone offense. It's an area that needs to be worked on, and one of the many areas that Love146 and other abolitionist organizations are working on.

  • @Liliwa14 Thank YOU for paying attention!

  • @SoJuiceySoWeedy You are right. There is tons of corruptions found in governments around the world. Often times the police in communitites where this is happening don't arrest brothel owners because they are too busy being their coustomers. It's disgusting. But at the same time there are people within the governments that are using their position of power to bring about change. It's important that we seek out those people and work with them to defeat this issue.

  • @DeuxBertProductions yeah i meant to put links to where i got the statistics and forgot! Thanks for reminding me!

they came from the resources listed at love146[dot]org[slash]resources[slash]trafficking I'll add the link into the description. :D

  • @marieseyah 1 in 3 runaway children end up in prostitution within 48 hours of leaving home.

  • @DylanFreak263 unfortunately it is. about 1/3 of children who run away end up in prostitution within 48 hours. I've heard stories of it happening within minutes of children leaving their home. :(

you can download the U.S. trafficking stats page at love146[dot]org[slash]resources[slash]trafficking to see some more stats on the issues of trafficking here in the USA.

  • @brainybabe247 Unfortunately it does. Shared Hope International did a study and found that between 100,000 and 300,000 children in the U.S. are at risk for sex trafficking each year. As many as 2.8 million children live on the streets, a third of whom are lured into prostitution within 48 hours of leaving home.

There is a BIG need for better laws in the united states to help in the prosecution of traffickers and pimps.

  • @SirThisIsMyUsername Glad I could spread the word about such a fantastic organization!

  • @ChantalxLee So glad to hear it! There are tons of resources out there if you look around. Books and documentaries and websites are ready for the asking.

  • @Windowtomylife Awesome! Many of the 146 task forces are groups of high school students! You are never too young to make a difference!

  • @EmRoxUrSoxOff And there are more where those came from :(

  • @IHopeUDance20 I had no idea about it until after I had gone away to college. I encourage you to spread the word to your friends and those you come in contact with. The sooner everyone is aware of how big of a problem this is the sooner we can effectively abolish slavery today! :D
