  • MINNESOTA ACCENT

  • Q f'n Q I love milk and veal! Top of the food chain babies! Not our faults we learned how to inbreed and mass produce their asses.

  • One only has to to type in "Frankensteer"..right here on YouTube and watch the series. Mankind friggin up the food chain....putting CRAP into our food chain for the sake of their own profits. NOW they're using antibiotics to plump up chickens quicker and the ramifications are causing consumers to have much weakened immune systems with NO way to fight back when a superbug strikes! There's GOTTA be a special trap door in hell for these folks.....and George Bush (either one).

  • Sometimes living in a rural area is awesome. I know where everything I eat and drink comes from and if I'm ever concerned about how the pigs, chickens and cows are treated I can just pay the farmer a visit and look for myself.

  • Since when talking about the sows?

  • Soo how do you know plants don't feel pain? Also humans are supposed to eat meat, that's why our teeth aren't flat and our eyes are on the front of our faces. Vegetarianism isn't natural that's why you have to take pills and drink special drinks so you can stay alive.

  • @RichardStroaker Well actually its a fact plants don't feel pain, pain is a response in the brain to a stimulation of the nervous system, since plants don't have such a sophisticated system they do not feel pain, in fact plants do not have a conscience as we would think of it as they have to brain. Its a very flawed argument fromthe start, not that I don't agree with peoples right to eat meat but i still think its a point that the way a lot of animals on these mass farms is wrong

  • @nathg1990yt Plants do feel pain... when they are damaged in any way they react by sending chemicals fo fix themselves.

  • @RichardStroaker Well its not pain in the way we think about it....in that plants have to thought process.

  • @RichardStroaker Also the fact you said vegeterians have to take pills and special drinks is bullshit.I agree that eating meat is natural and people shouldnt see it as inhumane if the animals are treated right. However the essiential amino acids we cant produce in our body can be found in fruit vegetables and nuts, the only problem is not every single one can be found in any one vegetable but they can all be found in meat, but with a mixed vegterian diet you can aquire all the protein we need.

  • @nathg1990yt Vitamin B12.

  • @MasterAsra Though one can also make the argument for most medicines, especially insulin(Even one of the leaders of PETA uses insulin while saying other people shouldn't). Most medicines use animal fats and products in their pills, along with lots of vegetarian products having animal parts, and almost all red dye is made out of thousands of ground up beetles.

  • @MasterAsra Good Call :)

  • It seams bitches cows come from california too, just like humans.

  • I love how the fact that the retarded organization PETA suing the dairy companies over pitiful things like commercials is somehow proof that the cows are unhappy, how the hell do you even measure cow happiness?

  • @captain3xtreme How do you measure your own happiness? if u were tortured (as the cows ARE in central california) would you be happy? Just because they are animals doesnt mean they dont feel pain! Or do u think animals dont feel pain?

Meat eaters think its their right to cause so much pain and suffering to innocent creatures for the mere enjoyment of their taste buds! Its quite pathetic!! They will get theirs back in due course of time! For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction!

  • @svh68 I can't respond to a moot point.

  • @svh68 were ontop of the food chain you have no respect for hard working farmers

  • @roohunter101 YES! I DONT have any respect for hard working animal killers, who spend all their energy nurturing, raising and nourishing innocent living entities only to be slaughtered for the pleasure of their taste buds. Its completely pathetic! There is no need AT ALL to eat meat! I am 3rd generation vegetarian... we are all very healthy people without ever having to slay living entities to carve them up and eat their flesh! You hard working 'meat cultivators' lead a despicable life!

  • @svh68 the majority of people want to eat meat majority rules

  • @svh68 Eating meat is natural, im not saying i agree with some of these mass producing farms where the animals are treated poorly but we are omnivores, its what nature intended us for (we have incisors) and I think its very single minded to look down on people because they eat meat. If you needed further evidance look at thwe animal kingdom, should a lion feel disgusted with himself for eating a zebra? If you don't want to eat meet thats your choice but don't loo down on what is a natural instinct

  • @svh68 Drama queen.

  • @svh68 Animals eat other animals. It's nature. Get used to it.

  • @captain3xtreme I think youve missed the point,I don't think this is as much an enviromental issue as it is a faulse advertising one. They've made it look like they have a free range "ranch" lifestyle instead of being cooped up with minimal space, they haven't been sued for what they are doing on the farm but the way theyve made them selves look pro enviromental in an advert that would convince a lot of people to buy there product then another brand where they may feel the cows are treated poorly

  • omg all you PETA lovers are morons. one of the top members of PETA has a cow artery in her arm to keep her alive. look it up. and PETA kills so many animals a year. thats why they own an industrial fridge. humane executions. PETA doesnt want there to be zoos, circuses, or fucking household pets. thats right. PETA wants you to get rid of fluffy as a pet and set it free. they are all uneducated fucks with nothing better to do in their lives than support a cause that doesnt need supporting.

  • ROTFLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL

  • Welcome to the advertisement industry, the job is to make your product look appealing enough so people will buy it. California Milk chose to make a series of gag commercials depicting dairy cows. It's no different than what other commercials do.

  • @endurethforever84 So true. But here in Switzerland cows are happy. I also drive across Switzerland often and the cows have really a lot of space, it even looks like in the commercial.

  • LOL a PA Dutch cow, I am so use to hearing the "dont cha know" saying here in the countryside from the amish and minonites

  • those cows are from wisconsin! but anyways come to the midwest and you will see an awful lot of milk cows and beef cows on pasture.. for about 6-7 months because of the cold and snow

  • Cows are so cute!! they r my fav animal <3

Also if ppl want watch the official sarah and taylor show!! its funny

  • My grandpa back in theNortheast has a Dairy farm, and he has 700 cows. All of the cows are taken care off. He only sells the males, or keeps for breeding, but the females, he keeps. He even named all his cows (wjile I was there, I named 5 :)) lol Not all places are bad, you just need to look for the good ones.

  • I guess the new gal was from Boston.

  • ONLY some cows in WI are cooped up but mostly they run in free pastures you can look that up in statistics that wisconsin cows are in wayy better care than california cows. ^^

  • That's nice to know, but the brand is Wisconsin Milk, it's California Milk. The treatment of the cows has absolutely nothing to do with marketing the brand.

  • btw: not all cows r cooped up in california. we keep them sheltered in the winter and feed them on pasture in the winter as well as support their diet with energy that they need. which is why california can produce as much as we can. get ur facts straight before u judge.

  • I am not a vegetarian, but i only eat meat from farms that take care of their animals and kill them humanely. i only drink soy milk because i dont like the veal process. if we all stopped drinking milk and drank soy, dairy cows wouldnt have to be inpregnated to make more milk, and there wouldnt be as many calves to be made into veal. so i wouldnt necessarily call myself vegetarian, just a rational omnivore.

  • Got milk ?

... but where is the happy chease ?

  • a cows a cow no doubt about that

  • stop being fucking cry babies they're commercials... california fall off in the ocean what a dumb ass comment from a fuckin idiot

  • California cows are 'happier' than Minnesota cows? Let's see how happy they are when California falls into the ocean. Losers.

  • My god.

I guess most people have not been to Cali. The cows in California are treated the same way as the one's in Wisconsin or what ever. The cows in AZ are cooped up.

PETA is also fool of shit. If they are so great then why do they kill hundreds of animals EACH DAY.

  • Also, being Vegan, only helps hurt cows. You may not believe it, but a female cow(Heifer) needs to be milked EVERYDAY, with or without any Hormones, or they will get terrible infections. And plus, eggs have never came in contact with a rooster, so why not eat it?

No use in arguing any of this. My mom was in FFA, and I do research.

  • The dairy cows spend most of their lives in cramped and filthy cages, and are repeatitively impregnated in to get milk. Their babies are taken away from them so that humans can use the milk, not the calves (the male calves are sent to veal factories). They are forced to produce about 10x as much milk as they normally would. When they are too exhausted to be used for milk anymore, they are sent to be slaughtered. A cows normal lifespan is 25 years, but dairy cows usually only live 4 to 5 years.

  • i get where both places ar coming from. i honestly am not vegan or vegetarian. eat all food groups. i understand that what they do is wrong but me not eating it isnt going to change that they are still going to do it.. so i make the most out of it and replinsh my own body with it. i dont like what they do and i would like them to stop but i have to face the facts that me not eat cheese and meat isnt going to change anything.

  • for a human to be a "Vegan" is unnatural, true Vegans are unhealthy looking due to depriving their bodies of the nutrients it needs. Starving your body to be "cool" is just STUPID!

  • What you just said is totally irrational. Vegans do not starve themselves, that's anorexia.

You could find all the nutrients you need through fruits, veggies and legumes. Vegans are way more healthy than meat eaters. I know this because I know both vegans and meat eaters and my vegan friends are more energetic and happy. I myself am not vegan but I've tried going that path before and I can honestly say that I'd never felt better.

  • Well...I'm neither vegetarian nor vegan but there is absolutely nothing wrong with it as long as you do it correctly. If the vegans you know look unhealthy, it's because they don't know what the hell they're doing. You CAN get all the nutrients your body needs on a vegan, you just have to know how to get them.

  • The cows got quiet because it was Sarah Palin.

  • It was awfully nice of Sarah Palin to do the voicework for that cow.

  • ha! maybe she did the voicework for the frozen canadian cow one. i can't find that on youtube but its on the company website.

  • PETA is probably upset because at the end of a dairy cows *working* life, when it can't produce milk anymore, it still gets turned into sausages. They don't wait for nature to take it's course, have a funeral and burial for ex-dairy cows. ;)

  • When they retire, they get turned into pigs?

  • Ha ha...good one!

  • Yeah... happy cows from California? Bullshit. Not to mention, people from Wisconsin don't have that god-awful fake accent.

  • hahahahaha.

    its a wisconsin cow!

i love California cheese, but thats prolly just cuz im from California :]

  • lol

  • for what it's worth, the "new" girl sounds to me like she is from North Dakota. Fargo, to be specific. Like Frances McDormand when she said she thought she was "Gonna barf".

AND............how is this disgusting to PETA people?

They're talking about CHEESE, lunkheads, NOT meat. You don't slaughter a cow for milk.

And.......California cheese is awesome. SO is Wisconsin. AND..........SO is VERMONT.

    They're cute and imaginative commercials.

  • PETA is more about being vegan than vegetarian, which is why they'd be upset. Everything angers PETA, I swear.

  • PETA and other people don't like these commercials because it's false advertisiing feeding society a lie about the way dairy cows live. They do not live happily roaming freely in lush cgi enhanced fields...they are locked up, tortured, raped and have their babies stolen...these commercials give a false impressions of the horror cow slaves endure.

  • Raped? I think that is not true. Where I live cows are allowed to roam free....

  • Artificial insemination is rape. They rape the cows to impregnate them to keep them pumping out babies to keep them pumping out milk. The they take the babies away while the mom screams and bellows for her child just so humans can have all the milk. Oh yeah, and I forgot to mention drugged. The cows are raped and drugged with hormones to produce more milk than normal...Most milk comes from raped, drugged, depressed cows...

    Soy milk is awesome.

  • I do agree soymilk is awesome....

but cows are not raped. I am currently taking Dairy Husbamdry 230 at Cal Poly (Number one public University in the western united states) and the way we deal with cows is humane. I believe A.I. (artificial insemination) is safer for the heifers because bulls can be as heavy as 3000 pounds. Imagine that in top of you! And every living thing produces hormones, therefore cows need extra hormones to produce more milk. Milk that the calf cant drink just alone.

  • Sounds like Cal Poly has done a great job of brainwashing you. And who cares about whether they are #1 or not...that just means they are #1 at spreading disinformation and lies such as AI is safer and extra hormones are a good thing. Wow...people really believe that crap?

  • That's terrible!! Are you a vegan, if you don't mind me asking?

  • @galaxydance You make me laugh. At least I can spell 'feces'. You're talking feed lot. I'm talking ranching, which is what is happening in those commercials. My cows are very stupid, but very well treated.

Take a chill pill, friend, before your brain bursts.

  • Maybe you should live on a galaxy or something....if you cant cope with life do everyone a favor and shoot yourself...merry xmas!! the commericals are meant to be funny...and by the way peta is effin retareded

  • LOL, uh, I DO live on a galaxy. We all live on galaxies, genius. Do everyone a favor and do a little common sense research before beseaching others to shoot themselves.

  • beseech* bud. Buy a dictionary. Then shoot yourself lol jk man. nice work.

  • @galaxydance Raped...really?

  • @mrgfspliff yes, raped, really. If someone artificially inseminated me without my consent, I'd call it rape.

  • @galaxydance lmao, well if you know a way to get consent from cows, let alone any animal, you may want to tell somebody. lotta cows getting 'raped' lmao!

  • @galaxydance So you are saying that my father tortures the cows that he raises? I really hate to break it to ya, friend, but cows are LIVESTOCK. That is the life of a cow.

  • @BewareSwordflash How would you like it if you were a cow and I cruelly locked you up in a cramped area, where it's all covered with faeces and excrement, and you can't turn around, and you develop sores and horrible wounds from cuts that become infected. You wouldn't like to be called "livestock". Did you know that pigs and dogs are basically the same thing but different looks, they are both intelligent but people were brought up to believe that pigs are food, dogs are pets... You're an IDIOT.

  • @playmelikeamelody Except cats and dogs both enjoy the company of humans as much as humans enjoy there company, you can't compare looking after and caring ofr animals to mass produced meat and slaughterhouses

  • @galaxydance Cow Slaves, Raped you have got to be kidding I grew up on a large livestock farm. You my friend need to get a life and grow up because you have no idea what the hell your talking about.

  • @Hwood1963 I am most definately not kidding. People who eat dead bodies become desensitized to reality. Go vegetarian for a few years then see how you feel. Someday in an evolved future the world will look back on factory farming and slaughtering animals as an unbelievable atrocity as we now look back on the holocaust and other genocides.

  • @galaxydance HAA get a life hippy

  • i dont think the commercial is saying much. cows from wisconsin are bad.....anything from wisconsin is bad! wisconsin is simple bad. did you know that there are more satanic cults in wisconsin per person than any other state in the US?

  • Psh happy cows come from Wisconsin...we don't need television ads to advertise our dairy products, everyone knows Wisconsin cheese is the way to go. I doubt you people from California even know what cheese curds are.

  • FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!! It's a tv commercial. Trust me, cows don't really talk. Go buy a freakin' sense of humor. This is what animal rights does to people. Tightens their rears because they're always straining out the vegetables.

  • LMFAO gary.. i was thinking the same thing. These people are fucking nuts. It's a commercial. Get over it. And even it's not true, it's not like false advertising isn't the norm here in america, and elsewhere. It's fucking talking cows for christ's sake. Get over it people. You fucking whiny dramatic bitches.

  • Actually, eat more broccolli for better breakage. Protein as in cheez from Happi Cows makes it harder to poop.

  • Central PA has happy cows with plenty of room to do ... um, cow stuff.

  • Happy Cows! Ha! The latest fiasco in CA opened a lot of eyes. THERE ARE differences between private dairy farms & industrial farms, no doubt. Perhaps if more people were educated to get their dairy from local farms, we wouldn't have these horrible factories? Small farmers need to speak up, be heard & be patronized. The average consumer doesn't even know they have these choices.

  • I have to say, my cows are CA cows and they are treated very well. They spend most of the year in a HUGE green pasture, they get some of the best medical attention, and most of them have lived long lives. The assumption that all CA dairies are slums is ridiculous. There are bad dairies in every state, but there are always good ones too.

  • Ya know, speaking of that...I was raised on a farm just north of Wisconsin. I've run into lots of activists that were also misled into thinking these cows live in slum-like conditions. I'd have to say that dairy cows live better than most people do nowadays.

  • I'd rather be a dairy cow than a beef cow!!!!

  • baha me moooo

  • Why? beef are the ones that you would normally see in pastures.. relatively little human intervention in their lives (at least in the summer)

  • it depends on where beef is from. in california, they're most often in feedlot facilities, not on pasture. i've actually seen more dairy on pasture than beef.

  • That's good :)

  • Actually, he said those that go to mass slaughterhouses and such, not those that are small and run decently...

  • seriously, i live in california and i've yet to see a cow not moo with glee

  • Congrats to all who have the bravery to uprise on stupid Dairy industries such as this one - I've always said it is a bunch of BS, nowhere are Dairy cows actually happy in the big industry. I don't care if people think it's a war on Cheese - It's actually a war on animal cruelty, lies, and anything businesses do to make their costumers stupid.

  • California 'happy' cows are bullshit.

They're all on factory farms. You want to see happy cows, come to the northeast. We've got a registered dairy Jersey herd in VT, THOSE are happy cows.

  • X2 on the Northeast being home to Happy cows. My beefers love it out in the snow!! If anyone from PETA would like Ill give them the opportunity to take a walk put in the pasture and try to put a halter on my 1900ln Angus/Highland cross bull and bring him to a local rescue to save him from going for bologna.

  • wth? why are people arguing so much??? How is this offensive???

  • i totally agree. i'm from wisconsin and taste wise, nothing beats wisconsin cheese. but i still think these commercials are hysterical. and this one has always been my favorite. i don't get why people get offended by stupid things like this...

  • I love the fact that people will fight about anything over the internet. I never thought I'd encouter a comment war about who has the best CHEESE lol. That just made my day. But really people, get a sense of humor. You're not supposed to believe this, you're supposed to see it and go buy cheese.

  • LMAO! Amen to that!!

  • This one really crossed the line. The others were kinda funny, but this is just insulting.

  • California Cheese is THE BEST!!!

  • No. Wrong. You have the advantage only when it comes to quantity, thanks to factory farms. As far as taste, a midwestern family owned product will beat out a Californian corporate product any day.

  • Actually (and I am an American and a friggin' HUGE cheez head) ALL American cheese sucks compared to what you can get from Europe. The USDA requires all cheese made in America be made from pasteurized milk, whereas in Europe they make it from unpasteurized (i.e. uncooked) milk. Funny thing is, once the cheeses are aged, European raw milk cheese is just as safe to eat as America's pasteurized crap.

  • Wow, these happy cow ads are such a load of crap. Do they really expect people to believe this?

  • They lost three times too.

  • Actually, the court case from PETA was thrown out three times. Get you facts staight. No wonder our cheese is better then yours!

  • I did have my facts straight. When I said "they", I was referring to PETA.

  • To give an idea of how random and accidental meat diets became popular, consider only 800,000 years ago there wasn't widespread use of fire among man. Inclimatic weather was a condition imposed on adapting man to trade more nutritious fruit diet for meat at times. The better part of the previous 5 million + years doesn't account for such a dependence upon meat while biochemistry still doesn't justify meat diet outside tradition.

  • the creation of the world wasn't a random happening God created it and scientists think they are finding evidence of evolution but then they just have more questions every time they think they find something

  • meh who cares if they are unhappy or not, dam PETA

  • Wow, that's an empathetic attitude. Thanks for pointing out how suffering doesn't matter as long as people's taste buds are satisfied.

  • im srry for you that you have never enjoyed a cheeseburger

  • I wasn't always a vegetarian, I know what I'm missing. The weight off my conscience is worth it in my opinion.

Of course I'm in the unusual position (in the age of supermarkets) of having actual personal experience with cows, and my empathy for them is mostly based on that.

  • It's not even the taste buds that dairy parasites are trying to appease, it's the casomorphin in dairy that is addictive. Milk doesn't taste as good as mangoes.
