GNB was the one who took carnatic music to the masses. Without compromising on tradition and 'grammar' of classical music he sang age old kritis like 'broche varevarura, samajavara gamana , radha sametha krishna' etc in his inimitable style that appealed to both the traditionalists and the masses alike.
