I was searching for a comparison like this, between an e-ink and backlit solution. Very informative. In a sea of biased reviews, your vid was very useful. Thumbs up for sure.
I love how he was like I like the color screen when reading the newspaper on the iPad and then when he shows the screen it's in black and white I was just like lol but anyway good vid! :)
I have an ipad and a kindle fire, I like both almost equaly but I do prefer the Kindle. I like the appstore much better, loads quicker, lighter, (don't care aout the smaller screen) very cheap for such a great tablet, and runs very smoothle. ( I also like the home homescreen better than the ipad) and... NO ITUNES! =)

@websurfin2010 Short answer- Why not? It looks cool. Long answer- My camera white balance and exposure was way off when I recorded this video so making it black and white fixed that.
Isn't that obvious a Tablet PC,which is using a LCD compare with E-ink reader ? LCD consumes more light, and that's hurt eyes. Imagine, if you read a 200-page-pdf in a row...

You can turn down the light under settings. That will help with eye fatigue.

@norseczar27 True, but still not as good as Kindle, also a lot heavier and uncomfortable to read with compared with Kindle.

If i have pdf's can I sync the pdf's to ipad & kindle and do i need a large data plan from Verizon to store my pdf's with ipad?
Thanks
hydra8888 7 months ago
@hydra8888 PDFs have nothing to do with a 3G data plan. You can do that all when syncing the iPad to your computer.

@phototristan then can I be "on the go" and read my pdf's with a 3G plan?
