Ah... me and my friend would always sneak into the classroom during breaks to play this and Lemmings on the old Amiga and Mac... lol the times when me and her figured out how to beat Lexan and Neural were, like, the greatest discoveries of our childhoods...
i had this game on my Atari 1040 ST. ...I just loved it.....a game like this, anno 2011, that involves mouse effects, pressure, speed, man,on a pc..... i wonder why it still doesnt exist....it would have been the very first kinect game....
The mouse as a bat...giving all kind of effects......would it be so hard to invent today? And imagine the Online Play fun. VN posting btw....
After 6 hours playing, 6 hours sleeping, then 2 hours playing, I finally beat Biff Raunch with 15-10 (I used Save Tournament so I didn't have to beat all the others every time). Using a trackpad on a MacBook Pro!
I really like this game. The characters are really funny. Biff's laughing can be very frustrating!
I can't believe someone could actually beat Biff... Most of them are easy, the only ones that are a bit more challenging to me are Eneg and Bejin, but Biff is just impossible.
NERUAL is "you". He exactly plays like you. He imitates every move, like a mirror, even the services. Just keep slow until you can make one deadly strike.
BEJIN is easy, except for the services. Hear the sound. If its just the ringing sound, the puck heads to the corner where it first goes in the middle. If it's the sound that begins low, it heads the opposite direction of where it first goes in the middle.
I played this game (the Mac version) on my uncle's computer when I was 4...scared the shit out of me at the time, how weird the opponents look and how they just sit at the other side of the screen of the screen staring at you. Ahhh, memories...
One of my absolute Amiga favorites. I always hoped for a sequel with multiplayer support. The Amiga version was way, way harder than the PC game for some reason...
hey what the hell? I remember playing this but it was in Black and White and it got really hard i never beat That Biff guy or the chick with weird telekeneisis powers.
Is their a way i can download the version(s) for mac or pc?
Dudes, so i downloaded this game and wanted to play it, but it says this system doesnt support fullscreen mode. Choose 'Close' to terminate the application.
I wanted to play this so badly, can anybody tell me what to do please?
@cubex55 unfortunately, im not that into irc... i just hoped that anybody with a little more knowledge than myself could give me an answer in the comments here. but thx anyways...
an venezolan guy who lives on argentina, the guy with most subscriber in argentina, made videos playing games and getting angry for that, like angry nintendo nerd, well, this was one of his games when he was a kid, he knows how to beat that bitch, when she uses.....magic?, she make 2 sounds, one to the right/left, and another one to the center, or it was to the other direction? i dont remember, i just know he know the trick
There was a version of this game for the nes, adapted for the japanese market. But it was far worst than the amiga version. The original is simply the best :)
This is one of the first games I ever played on the Amiga, round at a mates before I was lucky enough to have my own. Man, I loved this game, it was funny and sooo addictive. Aghh, I want to play this right NOOOOW :)
HAHAHAHA!!! Lexan the focking crocodile geezer who gets pissed up and ends up playing shit! Can't believe I forgot about him!!! BEST. GAME. EVER!!! HIC!
I played this game around 1990/1 at my mates house. Every Saturday his dad would turn up at his mum's, with his NEW fuckin' wife, but would also bring around copied Amiga games (this being one of em). We were hopeless. Years later me dad bought me a second-hand ST, this game being part of the package. I had to master that bird with the long black hair. When I realised her "wobble" sounds had an affect on her puck - I was fuckin' buzzing! You can hear Biff's laugh at Blackpool Pleasure Beach ...
you must have been stoned as fuck writing that, but Shufflepuck Cafe was an immense gaming experience, has there ever been a better more interactive use of a computer mouse ever since?
Actually, I would really love to get mashed up and play it again to see if I still got the skillz to pay the billz...
Nerual plays as fast as you do. So when you play slow, he plays slow too.
Another trick: play the puck slow to the front. When he is a bit over the line where you can reach it, you can still reach the puck and play it in another direction. The enemie has already aimed for the old position from the puck and can't reach it now. It work only at the last reachable point, so when you hit the puck to early he aimed for the new position.
There is a trick to Bejin's serve. You can listen to the sound that can be heard. There are two different sounds and they correspond to the side the puck will be aimed at. Just learn which sound matches which side and then when you hear it, camp that side.
I remember getting my Commodore 64 - First thing I did was put the audio tape that was bundled with it in the player and heard the music from this game (although I didn't know where it was from at the time).
Bit of a cheeky time to try and sell you an Amiga I thought - but still sticks in my head even now.
"HAHAHAHA"-Biff, another blast from the past,I can still smell my momma's cook'n every time I see one of these games,I had a different version thou, mine was black and white and on a 3600 mac. What happend to the windup serve robot?
Can anyone tell me where i can play this game online? i've been trying to download the bastard but it won't work so i figure my only option is to play it online. Please Help me i grew up on this game on the mac classic.
that intromusic scared the shit out of me

The key with Nerual was to tap it gently to him to get him to tap it back (he reflected your shot) and then thump it hard to win. Easy to beat then.
