  • this isnt real throat singing to me at all its more like rhythmic breathing techniques, its not at all like real tuvan or other styles of throat singing just not my cup of tea at all ..........

    Actually, it is real Inuit throat singing, also known as katajjaq. The girl who is teaching lives in Nunavut.

    Many cultures have developed different types of singing, and this is just another type.

    Why write negative comments?

  • @briet70 sorry about that its just that i didnt give it enough time to get used to it lol actually it is really cool sorry about that i was wrong i really like it :) its really neat how they sound like a saw :) very nice :)

  • This was 2007. We had a great time up in Newfoundland, and one of the coolest parts was the Inuit Choir's performances and how friendly your choir members were! We're the choir from Atlanta.

    because i recognize that room where we had to rehearse early mornings for the grand finale at mile one. i was with the inuit choir in 2007. i recognize the inuit girls too and the throat singer's name is katelyn not kayla..lol...thanks 4 posting this.
