this isnt real throat singing to me at all its more like rhythmic breathing techniques, its not at all like real tuvan or other styles of throat singing just not my cup of tea at all ..........

This was 2007. We had a great time up in Newfoundland, and one of the coolest parts was the Inuit Choir's performances and how friendly your choir members were! We're the choir from Atlanta.
because i recognize that room where we had to rehearse early mornings for the grand finale at mile one. i was with the inuit choir in 2007. i recognize the inuit girls too and the throat singer's name is katelyn not kayla..lol...thanks 4 posting this.

Actually, it is real Inuit throat singing, also known as katajjaq. The girl who is teaching lives in Nunavut.
Many cultures have developed different types of singing, and this is just another type.
Why write negative comments?

Our girls were in black skirts and tops with orange scarves, and guys in all black.
