  • I don't know if you realize it, but this is an 8 stringed guitar!

  • Georgia.

  • this is truly brilliant. i'm a very impressed. cheers man!

  • nice demo, but "mess around with some blues"?? that was some pretty jazzy blues man.

  • Very nice SW!

I think you should try to dissolve the figures with a game of live algorithm. New played notes trigger new figures in the running game...

  • Not quite sure how it would work at the moment, but that is an intriguing idea.

  • Just my take: if a person has little to no theory behind them, this would be ideal for making jazz progressions by way of "hunt and peck". On the flip side, if a person has a lifetime of theoretical chord knowledge, an instrument like this could be extremely challenging. Again, just my take.

  • sweet man - I was hoping the c-thru layout had been made onto the monome - is your patch or code or whatever on the monome site?

I'm building my arduinome right now - & I wanna jam with something like that straight up

  • Looks fantastic - very clever system! Now we just need to see you making use of some of those novel chord layouts to play some more music *on* the monome ;)

Btw, I don't know why you need to apologise for your voice - it's quite pleasant to listen to actually!

  • what chords are you using at 1:56 - 2:07 ??

    thanks ,

    Tom

  • Sounds like Cm9 Dm9 Ebmaj9 Dm9 Cm9 Cmaj9 Cm9

    cheers

  • Great explanation! That's a pretty inventive setup.

  • Oh man, it's "Playing with myself" all over again.

    Good work as always.
