  • Don't see many at all, Mississippi Road Service. A friend of mine had a bigger frame one like this one with a 6V71 in it. He used it for moving houses. Hade a 5th wheel on the back and a dozer blade on the front. When I looked for parts they are far and few between because the military used them over seas and they never came back, and the comp was sold. I know I have seen pics of them in sugar cane fields. There are a couple in Florida also used for pulling boats on trailers out of the water.

  • That was built in Mississippi. I don't know how many were made. God bless.

  • Um how about a roll cage?

  • I don't believe you'll actually find parts for the "MRS" per say. You'll find parts for the particular make of engine, in my case a Cummins, the axles which are Rockwells, RT910 tranny if I remember correctly and a Barnes transfer case. What exactly are you looking for?

  • Where can I buy spare parts for MRS A-80 & MRS A-I90?

  • Actually this rig has a 160hp, 474 ci straight 6 Cummins not a Jimmy! I just bought a JD skidder to replace it as I needed something with locking axles to work in the gravel. I'm hoping someone in AK will want to by the beast!

I added the forklift mast. It works ok but is very front heavy. I could put water in the rear tires I suppose to counter balance the mast and load.

  • That is a good looking MRS.

I liked your vid and the music was fine but... to tell you the truth, I'd rather have heard that screamin' Jimmy! :D

  • forklift?
