@jacobiversen1 - Rage Against The Machine was one of the best bands of the 90's. But Audioslave was actually one of my favorite bands from 00-10. RATM was more fierce, had more power and the songstructures was often more inventive. Stil dough, I'm glad to have both bands to enjoy today. Both are great bands in my book :-)
I was there at coachella 2007 and saw them play. I was on stage. there is a part of coachella thats behind V.I.P. but you have to have a certain kind of wrist band to get there because all the stars and artists chill there but thats where the real parting takes place. But I tend to miss the crowd so sometimes trying to be this "VIP" guy takes from the whole experience of coachella bcuz after all it is all about the people and the music and feeling that experience. its going overly commercial now

@jacobiversen1 - Rage Against The Machine was one of the best bands of the 90's. But Audioslave was actually one of my favorite bands from 00-10. RATM was more fierce, had more power and the songstructures was often more inventive. Stil dough, I'm glad to have both bands to enjoy today. Both are great bands in my book :-)

I was there at coachella 2007 and saw them play. I was on stage. there is a part of coachella thats behind V.I.P. but you have to have a certain kind of wrist band to get there because all the stars and artists chill there but thats where the real parting takes place. But I tend to miss the crowd so sometimes trying to be this "VIP" guy takes from the whole experience of coachella bcuz after all it is all about the people and the music and feeling that experience. its going overly commercial now

Any communal system that doesn't celebrate individualism and support individual freedom is anti-human. There is no collective body or collective mind, therefore there should be no collective wealth. Well I feel like you're a fool, because even though you're correct that USSR/Cuba were not truly communist, you should still know that communism is bad; you cannot take away people's rights and profit motive, and expect that you're going to have a happy or productive country. (No, "altruism" is not a sufficient motive to work. The prospect of monetary gain or loss is the natural incentive to work. But, communism is against the nature of reality, so maybe it's a moot point.)

Lol this is the most used argument against communism but it is one of the stupidest. Profit motive is not even the best motive, it feels much better to give than to take. And profit in and of itself is just the surplus value of others' labor, which is exploited by the wage system which doesn't pay you what your labor is really worth. The supposed labor they commit to is not actually labor for it does not create any objective product with a use-value and exchange value.

If the guy in the pub finds a way to create value for others, and the college guy does not, then who deserves rewards? And anyway, a capitalist doesn't see it as "rewards."
