We have to minis. One will stand on the foot pedal to the trashcan, stretch up and toss garbage out to her sister to devour....I'll find one running around on the table in the early morning hours. They are loveable, fun nuts!!

We just got a Mini Dachshund 2 weeks ago and he never barks! He is good - smart- can sit already and is almost completely house trained. I love this breed! Thanks for sharing

You have such a well-behaved dachshund! My silver dapple dachshund never behaves and he barks at everyone he sees. Lenny's cute too.

Oh MY god i have a miniture dachshund and she does exactly the same thing bark at evreything she see's :L Bless her but shes soo loving like at night she sleeps in the bed with me :L haha why am i tell you this? but does your dog do that too .. imean thats if you let it?

om my gosh Lenny is so good, i cannot train mine, she'll attempt things when theres food but when the isnt, no chance!

you don't need to give him a trick after every trick because your getting praise alone, is very rewarding.

aww :) my dachshund only knows "sit" and she only sits when you have food! i tried to teach her more but it doesnt work, she doesnt get it at all!

Thats because dachshunds are known for their lack of intelligence :P
