I have the Sputnik and I love it! Very silky. I had the EX66 monitors, but their power amps had problems, as did the amps on my friends EX66'. They sounded great for sure, but I became enamored with the JBL4300 series, and use those now.

Oh yeah my mixes work well. The room correction really helps tame that bass. And speaking about bass, these things really hit the low stuff well. Full yet tight.

I agree. i love them, one thing i do to test the sound is listen to New Age music. All them instruments mixed in different dimensions of space. Sounds great. Im looking for a second smaller pair of monitors as well, to take when traveling and not sure what to purchase.
