Yes, her art is simplistic and amateur. However, that is only when you compare it to adults. How about kids her age? Few 9 year olds can paint Marylin so accurately you know who it is without being told. Very few 9 year olds can shade, foreshadow and blend colors so well. Nor can they nail proportion so well, choose such flattering colors and make such amazing textures and brushstrokes. It's fine to criticize or even dislike Autumn's work, but compare to people her age, just to be fair.
Autumn, you are a deep thinker and a little girl with a grown up heart that is full passion for painting. I am very impressed and wish you well in your career as a painter.

Shes amazing for age, but compare to grown up normal artists, shes amateur at best. Theres no doubt when she grows up she'll be great
