doesnt sound loud enough for me.. an loudness dont allways close down trails.. well not here in wisconsin.. plus i dont think this nytro here is as loud as the older tripples with tripple straight pipes, everything i own has exhaust done to it an the louder the better
not sure on the power increase since i added this in the fall. so i didnt get a back to back test with the 2. i know i like it, and it pulls all kinds of rpms.. i did ride a 08 shorty and i could tell mine had better throttle response. i dont have the quiet core, it does come separate.
i would not expect anything else from a kid who is just out of being a teenager. Growing up is hard i know and experience is not what is on young persons shoulders. 2 things
1 noise does not equal performance
2 noise closes trails be responsible.
I may be old but have more years experience than your age period so go figure. i did put a mbrp on my fx nytro it was cool for an hr or so then it was a pain to loud i sold it and went back to stock. have you rode with the new exhaust yet?
What does experience and age have anything to do with exhaust? I wouldnt consider thinking exhaust is too loud equals experience. I agree that it doesn't always add performance. But in this case it does. At +12 hp for just the slip on, i can handle a little noise. Im sure you'll call bs on that like everyone else, so you can check on it for yourself.
@b70454 yeah about the 12hp it says in the fine print on their site that the barkers fuel management thing needs to be used to get the extra hp. without it its still 8hp though. And GTO is stuck back in the 80s and unlike everyone else he wants a quiet sled. Even my pop has a mbrp on his viper an that will bust your ear drums. and where I live all trails have no restrictions. where you live?
@GT03235 not to be mean but saying to loud is weird bc i have a dirt bike that as loud or loufer then that and i seted it it gives me a good amout or hp more and the throudle respose idk what to say u can get it any better and i al a trail rider and ya its loud but i love the noise in the woods so ya and age doent mean shit ok
@farmingismylife123 Most people will and cannot see a real world power gain but feel there is due to the noise unless you have dynoed your bike you know shit about power gains only what the manufactur states 12 hp gain just for a slip on is total bollox what i read on a previos post

Do you really feel the 12 hP? Is it worth the money? I hear they come with an insert to make it quiet. Did it come with it?

And GTO is stuck back in the 80s and unlike everyone else he wants a quiet sled.
