Good job bro.... Got that tone done pack... That Alembic is delivering the mail..I can tell you you put some time into that groove and your hard is paying off. Keep up the groove and good work my friend. More power to the "KING".. MARK KING........
@MrFunkmaster2 Thanks! Yeah the alembic copy is a really versatile bass, great for Mark King bass lines! My grooving needs more work but its progressing, it's only lately I really understand that you have to 'feel' the groove and not 'thinking' the groove nor thinking about timing etcetera, the real groove comes from the soul without thought.
Fantastic sound, Ramon. You really play your bass with great agility. I really enjoy these songs by level 42, and the way you play them all. Greetings
Sounds great Ramon, the chorus & bridge and damn tricky on this song and you have to have your timing spot on on all of it, which you have! Think this is one of my favorites from the TC album too....
@jonannlou Thank you J! Yeah I notice now from other video's that the chorus is a bit easier then how I played it here, unnecessary made it harder to play lol. The slap bit is technically not that hard, but i have a hard time hitting the G string with my thumb cos of the small body of my bass and the pick-up selector that is in the way, there is not enough room for my hand. I basically always have to play with an open slap hand on this bass.
Great cover.I havent paid attention what has been going on with my level 42 fellas out there the 6 last months.i have been driving my rc cars and been playing a lot of bass live..lol)very good sound as usuall
I'm going to video me doing "Eyes Falling" on my 7 string this weekend. Stay posted it should be interesting.. I hope anyway....lol
