  • If only this thing had back seats that I could throw my kids into. I'm not big on the g37 but i love the Z

  • Love the car but the fact that the oil cooler simply just does not work well enough for track conditions is a bit of a turn off. Maybe I'll gain more interest when Nissan addresses the problem.

  • i wish they made it lighter

  • Man, that is a good looking car. I'm looking to buy a 2008 Infiniti G37 but that is nice !

  • Y did they change the exhaust the g37 sounds better

  • WHY SO SLOW? D:

  • It would look bad ass in black

  • i havw an audi tt quattro and i want a 370z so bad

  • wow this guy some how managed to make this vid boring even tho its about the 370z. Hey Roadfly you need some younger more enthusiastic hosts.... and id be happy to host for you guys. you could save that old bag of bones host for reviews on buicks chryslers.

  • @partycake what a dousche

  • @MagicAyrtonforever hey wow there this is between me and roadfly i dont have anything against a fellow porsche owner

  • @partycake Fair enough. :-) I love Porsches but economics mean I have gone back to the old Z car.. Enjoy.

  • 370Z: 1

    SLK: 0

  • WAT UP CHARLAY

  • Better interior than the 350z, the interior was hideous...

  • @93Gatorchomp93 I prefer the smooth texture the old 350Z had on the dash.. 370z dash looks like it needs rubbing down with 800 wet and dry sandpaper! Seriously considering this car though!

  • I am a proud owner of 370Z!!!! I'm loving it!!

  • @g35james James, a lot of people complain about how noisy the car is. What's your take on that?

  • @VonTrousers Yea.. It's Noisy!!! But i play my Music loud so it doesn't really bother me ... ^^

  • @VonTrousers Sports cars r meant to be loud!! If u want a quite car then get a lexus or bmw!!!!!

  • I am a proud owner of 370Z!!!! I'm loving it!!

  • @hanstaILL ya I noe ugly as hell right? :D

  • I totally underestimated this car............ until I saw this video. Wow!

  • is this car better than the g37?

  • can someone tell me the pros and cons of traction control

  • @VietnamEarObserverf u dont know what traction control is lol im 11 and i know what traction control is traction control makes it so your wheels do start to spin out when driving traction control cuts power to the wheels when it senses the wheels spinning out

  • @FSXUSER10 You misunderstimate me!! I just see why anyone would turn it off.. what is the advantage of that? Why would anyone ever do that?

  • @FSXUSER10 You misunderstood me.. I just wanted to know why anyone would want to turn it off. What is the advantage of turning it off??

  • @VietnamEarObserverf If you're racing it you'd likely turn it off. No traction control meens you have complete control over how your car drives as there are no electronic imputs telling you that they know better. Also if we want to do power slides turning it off helps also :P

  • OMG... $40,000 in the US? I would of bought this ages ago.

It's at minimum $70,000 in Australia for just the base model....

  • @TheEpitomized Lmao that sucks!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i really do apologize if i'm being too critical,

but what's the point of taking the car out of the showroom

if all you're gonna talk about are manufacturer's specs?

i mean, you went through some twisties,

you brought the car to the race track aaaand....?

dude... how was the driving experience???

  • It cost $30000 in US and £31000 in UK, you lucky bastards.

  • @seauryakumar and way more than that in South Africa. Cheap in the US.

  • There's a lot of other cars I rather have, none of which come in any where near the price of the 370Z. Great car for the price...

  • 0:17 HELLO PUBERTY hahahha

  • Z350 owners will not like to read this, but Z370 beats pretty much everything on Z350. Well done Nissan, you guys got this pretty good this time. *thumbs up*

  • i like 370z but

    got no 4 seater

    T_T

  • @lamalama123 Get an Evo or STI, or a G37 Sedan....

  • 350's look better. That looks to toy'ish.

  • me like 370z. me want 370z.

  • The rev-matching system is sooooo stupid. If you don't know how to rev-match you shouldn't be in a sports car to begin with.

  • I heard the same argument when VW pioneered the twin-clutch DSG. Now a lot of cars have one. The days for your opinion are quite numbered.

  • @GenericUser19xx

I don't have a problem with DSG. DSG and other paddle-shifter gearboxes are hardly as intrusive as a system where the computer momentarily takes control of your throttle-body to spoon-feed you a rev-match. Any non-paraplegic should be able to do that themselves before they buy a 300hp+ car.

  • @CasterTown It's not standard, and you can turn it on and off.

  • @CasterTown So how then does a person learn how to rev match if they aren't allowed to ever drive in a car where it matters until they know how?

People buy sports cars for a lot of reasons.

  • @mpalm887

I don't get it. You don't buy a sports car to learn to drive stick on. I learned how to rev-match in my first car, a 1986 honda 5 speed. I thought that this was manual-transmission-basics. They might as well have something that automatically lets the clutch out smoothly too so you don't stall if they're going to be targeting the "can't drive stick but still want a sports car" market.

  • @CasterTown No I agree with you. I didn't really say what I meant properly. What I mean is, there are a lot of rich or working class blokes who grew up driving automatic corollas and had to learn a manual on their friend's VW. They are comfy enough with a clutch, but maybe can't match rev's on downshifts. Now they have money and they aren't about to go out and buy an '80's GTi to learn how first.

In fact I think MOST sports car owners are posers and Nissan knows it.

  • @CasterTown Case and point: my father is a complete poser. He drives a Cayman S but doesn't like to take it past 5000 RPM and has "never floored the accelerator." Why didn't he just get the regular Cayman, or a Lexus ES for that matter.

You know I think I'm kind of proving your point. From a business perspective Nissan is smart because of all the posers. But I have to agree with you from an enthusiast's perspective. People who want syncro-rev should just get an automatic.

  • @mpalm887

Very poignant. I agree. I think nissan has indeed sighted in on the "poser" market, and thats a good way of putting it. I guess thats what I'm disappointed about. I was hoping the 370 would be an even harder, more enthusiast-inspired sequel to the 350, but instead they dummied it down. Unlike other popular sports car gadgets like paddle-gearboxes and electronic diffs, synchro-rev does not make the car faster, and that means its useless and invasive equipment to an enthusiast.

  • @CasterTown lol i agree with you...still take my 04 G35 sports coupe over this anyday :)...

  • PROUD TO BE JAPANESE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • He got stuck with an auto for this test. Too bad.

  • @mpalm887 Watch the entire video before you comment you douche. He says he got a manual for the track test.

Yes. I said that to myself.

  • @mpalm887 the autos are faster than the manual

  • Nissan is probabaly Japan's most aggressive and raw car maker. Lovin their latest 370Z!

  • I got mine last week and I LOVE IT My dream car has become a reality.

  • I got mine last week and I LOVE IT My dream car has become a reality.

  • I have one, I was very glad with it, but my nismo doesn't have a oil cooler.

  • dude the word is aluminium not aluminum.

  • love the retro design! instant classic.

  • Comparably speaking from my 1982 280zx, the interior in this car looks just all crappy because its all plasticly. Almost the entire interior of my car is a leather. The ceiling is leather, seats are bi-leather and suede, and the dash has a rubber-plastic feel instead of the thin hard plastic you see/feel in todays cars. I feel they have downgraded the value in the interior of the infamous Z cars, without a doubt.

  • @heathlive yea but I think they had to in order to keep the overall price down and performance up ...

  • @msufan8854 I understand, in fact i agree. But still the interior is just as important as the exterior in my opinion and i am just not fond of cars interiors since mid 1990's. Some of the cars throughout the years though have nice interiors, no doubt. But majority is the cars are lacking so much in terms of smaller intricate amenities and interior value, just my opinion. If the Z would return to its roots it would have more of what the classic Z's had, but improved. Not revamped everything.

  • @msufan8854 To continue on that comment since i care so much about the Z line and history, i just feel the Z has strayed from the roots and gone towards a lesser all together vehicle in terms of production. From the ideas, to drawing boards and then the line, it has been sped up too fast for the infamous Z cars to retain its beauty. Hopefully they'll return. Just think how beautiful it would be to see a 70's Mustang look in these years. The older styling curves are truly dominant among looks.IMO

  • rofl, he did not just bring out the helmat! lol

  • We have the touring with nav she it was like 40,000

  • I dont think the screen is touch screen on the Z, or I could be wrong.

  • The screen is touch on the Z. My cousin has one and I drive it all the time.

  • at 1:04-1:22...he is hauling SO MUCH ASS haha I can't even believe it

  • LOL i was like what are you taking about...OMG LOL its a BLUR!

  • fast and .........tokyo drift

  • nice car....

  • 4 inches smaller in the back ? thats what it seems like , or at least between the door and the rare fender, which made the rear window visually smaller

  • does anyone else think it looked like a lotus at 1:12 or is that just me? lol

  • I was just thinking that!

  • the headlights were looking similar to an elise but the camera is far far off.

  • this car is amazing! love it.

  • 300zx is the best z generation

  • It's certainly got great looks (Z32 I mean)

  • my dream car !

  • @wind2404

used to be my dream car. Now it's a reality, I own one ;)

    Starts saving now man

  • @wind2404 my uncle has a yellow 370z

  • @aosprite48

yeah? go suck his balls then.. who gives a s**t if your uncle has it. I don't even know you.. my uncle has a private jet if you give a rats ass..

    F**kin stupid.

  • @ersoyu first of all retarded faggot 370z is a car not a giant piece of shit that flys in the sky and 2nd im just saying my uncle does so u dont have to act like a little bitch ass motherfucker and start being jealous and stop bitching about it and ur right who the fuck cares but u don't have to be a complete dick, ignore little pussy

  • @wind2404 If this is your dream car............... thats sad........... i could see something you know you cant afford like a BMW M3 or a Lambo ZR1 Vett or some thing but dude this thing cost like 30 k......... w8 till it drops in price and get it...

  • @wind2404 Thats sad if thats your dream car. I own a hr 350 and 370 is really a buchery of the interior compared to the 350 an the exterior is still subjective, but still growing on me...

  • @kiriller what the hell does buchery mean?

  • @wind2404 no its mine XD

  • looks cheap inside??? have you seen corvette? or anyother american cars??

  • yes; not to insult domestic rides or anything but having test driven most of them.. I can say they deffninitly skimp out on interior (riddled with cheap feeling plastic)

HOWEVER, they are changing their act with latest rides.

back to the Z, you should be buying the car for performance.. not to look at the interior.

  • hey HCNguyen86. i've never seen plastic that looked or felt cheaper than another. all plastic is cheap. that is why it is used as much as it is

  • corvette gives new meaning to plastic, as the fiber glass body well....is plastic

  • have seen the pricetag on the corvette?? wtf are u talkin about.....compare this to the mustangs and the interior is legendary...mustangs, chargers, challengers they look like they were made by garbage raiders....fuckin shittiest interior on american cars unless u're payin mad money....for the same price its not even comparable to the 370

  • so true, i own 350z and compared to new 370z interior i feel like i'm in plastic container....but then my girlfriend owns a mustang and every time i'm in it i don't feel bad at all in 350z,

and all plastics are NEVER the same, look at scion's interior, it's considered cheap but finish is awsome compared to cobalt or any other 20k dollar range american cars.

  • @yavartoghrol hey penisbreath, if you load up a Z it's nearly 40k! you can get a base C6 for 43k.

  • @wideopen704 Wrong. Base 2011 C6 Coupe is 49k, please look at chevy's website. Base 2011 Z is 31k. Thanks for playing.

  • @gmr19 I said, if you load up a Z. Secondhand Vettes are much cheaper, faster, and easier to maintain in the long run. Thank you for playing.

  • @wideopen704 Why are you comparing a fully loaded Z to bare bones vette? OK, loaded Z: 40k. Loaded vette: near 60k. What's your point? I disagree about the vette being much cheaper to maintain. Nissans are like Hondas as far as reliability. Yes, Vettes are faster, that's it.

  • @hanstaILL lol it looks amazing in the inside idk what cheap ass car u seen

  • @shawty3197 i was ref. to vetts interior not nissan.

  • @hanstaILL Obviously you have never been in a Corvette.

  • @xxMafia101 obviously have been.

  • @xxMafia101 obviously have been.

  • @hanstaILL its all about performance

  • @hanstaILL HanstalLL is right!

  • @hanstaILL cadillac interiors aren't cheap, and ur not gonna be staring at an interior when ur going 150mph not only in american cars but in any car

  • @hanstaILL well that is because the 370z is 30,000 and the corvette is like 50,000.

  • @hanstaILL Amen, Bro!!!!

  • @hanstaILL LOL. Yea, I sat in a 370 at a Nissan dealer this week. AMAZING interior. Has absolutely everything, and quality is awsome. They are a crazy car for sure.

  • Okay, now I agree with Randy Pobst, this engine note is horrible, sounds really bad in the upper revs. The 350Z had such a sweet high revving smooth V6 sound, this sounds like a V8 with some weird mechanical whine behind it. Great car but the sound...

  • real nice car!!!!

  • THE Z CAR IS BACK!!!! i hope that twin terbo this car next year!!!! oh yea

but what a bad ass 30 g car!!!!!!

  • they are not gonna twin turbo the Z car. If they did that, the GT-R would be just stupid to buy. the GT-R is for somebody who wants the power of a Twin Turbo Z.

  • good review

  • @dipsetking27 um your ugly

  • in Canada it starts from 39,000

    wtf!!!!

    our dollor is like 0.90

  • beacuse u guys have a shitty dollor

no1 wants your shitty cash lolz

  • lol y did u remove your comment?

    USA takes our trash dumbass

    toronto's trash goes to boston

learn your facts btw singapore is all trash

  • Go visit Singapore, experience the huge dumps of electronics waste right where people live, and THE come back and talk sh%t.

  • learn some english "and the come back and talk shit"

    I dont understand

  • Killer engine note, man

    sr20de/ve/vet/det

    vq25det/30det/30de/35de/35hr

    rb20det/25det/26dett/30det

now the vq37 joins the list of killer engine notes made by nissan engines.

Heard Nissan is looking to turbo the next z,

maybe drop the vq30det in it!

  • does anyone else not like the idea of the engine rev matching for you?

  • yeah but you can turn it off. so idk just something else to break.

  • takes the fun out of it.

  • it kinda like the idea of tiptronic transmissions, its just a bitch way of driving for idiots that cant drive manual.

  • the 0-60 for the Zed is 4.6sec, but this must be the first time i have seen someone test drive a car for a review and it being an automatic...

  • about 2/3 of the the zeds sold in aus have been auto.. less than a quarter 350's were auto.. its the new twin clutch that ppl love

  • hey wats a nismo?

  • whats google?

  • Nissan motorsports ... NISsanMOtorsports..

    nismo

  • a tuner company mainly for Nissan.

  • nismo is the company that modifies the zcar for rally races and other events for the nissan team. They produce a street version with a few extra horsepower and some body kit add ons.

  • NISMO, NISSAN, INFINITI FTW!

  • synchrorev isnt driving u gotta be in total control thats all. its a cool thing though i just prefer no synchrorev

  • you can turn it off if you want

  • Optional.

  • @StefanCarr "synchrorev isnt driving u gotta be in total control thats all"... Wow, hahaha! Whats your problem, SpeedRacer?.... If the manual gear box gives me a way to worry less on sync my gears and helps me to pay attention to the road and do more and better maneuvers when I am in a head to head on the street, I'd thank for it!

If you think you can do better than a computer designed for that purpose, Just turn it off and "take total control", Mr. Michael Hamilton Massa Loeb. LOL!!

  • The Synchorev matches revs 100% of the time. There's not a human being on the planet who can claim to do that. If you think you can do better, simply turn it off.

  • come on send that thing sideways seriously drive like you got some balls!

  • what are the 0-60 and 0-100 #s on this car?

  • 4.6~5.2 sec depending on the model and the tester.

  • if you love manual transmissions...don't get the synchrorev...rather go for the 7 speed auto or just the manual tranny itself

  • why, the synchrorev is just more up 2 date technology that helps you when ur downshifting?

  • but if you know how to drive a manual tranny...synchrorev won't be much helpful...would be good if you just got your first manual shift car though

  • every manual 370z has synchrorev, and there is a button to turn it on/off

  • i dont like this car in red, only car i like in red is ferraris, i test drove this car last friday and it was nice , my dad also toke it for a spin and he went 90 in a 45 zone lol

  • is it manual or manual clutch?

  • The 370z has two option: a Synchro Rev 6 speed manual or a 7-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters

  • The synchro rev is part of the sport package.

  • Yea but who wouldn't get the sport package. 2,000 you get sport suspension, Rays Engineering Rims, Aero package, Performance tires, VLSD, and sport brakes.

  • Don't see how anyone can like the 350 over this 370. Different strokes I guess.

  • Its also sportier, leaner, shorter and wider.

  • i like it becuase it is like the 240z

  • omg ur gay and you must have a 350 because anyone who has nay taste would prefer the 370. I have the 370 and had the 350 and the 350 is not even close to as nice looking.

  • i have nothing close to the 350. i actually have a trans am ws6. i just prefer the 350 over the 370.

  • u just wish u cud afford one ;)

  • hell ya

  • GTR Similarities...the Roof Line? I would suggest that this guy needs to compare a 240z which gave birth to this car. It is all 240z including the Roofline

  • carro super

  • I completely agree with you man, I would take the Camaro any day. Even though the horsepower output is higher for the Z, it makes that kind of power at 7,000 rpm. Which, if I'm not mistaking, is barely below the redline. Also, the peak torque isn't made until 5,000+ rpm... so, the Z's ratings can be kind of deceiving.

  • Camaro: 304 bhp @ 6400rpm (600rpm under redline) 273 lb-ft @5200rpm.

    370Z: 332 bhp @7000rpm (500rpm under redline) 270 lb-ft @5200rpm.
