I have an e maxx 3905 model that I've upgraded to the 2200 kv brushless system, I really like the truck but I am having some differential problems. I'm running one 3 cell 5000 mah battery and proline trencher 40 series tires. Gear ratio of 22 to 65. Does anyone know how I can prevent my (rear) differential from wearing out. (wears out in about a week) thanks. And nice video man :)

These are badass trucks & I wouldn't let mine go for nothin but After some hardcore bashing with my neighbors Savage flux I have to concede & admit that HPI makes the superior basher! BUT! I wouldn't trade my brushless E-Revo for 2 savage flux's (aside from selling the flux's & buying 2 E-Revo's) the E-Revo is clearly the better handling, better jumping, better looking vehicles of all the monster brushless RC's...

Running NIMH packs will ruin the brushless ESC. there have been masses of incidents where new truck owners are sending in their ESC's under warrantee due to ESC damage associated with using battery packs that won't deliver the required high voltage. If you read the mamba max instructions it states clearly "not to us the NIMH".... gotta get lipo's

Optimal gear ratio with plenty of torque twisting wheelie power is 52 spur & 24 pinion. I've never gotten hotter than 150F & reach speeds of almost 50mph

Also- it's worth every penny of 599.99 (free shipping). After putting RPM bulkhead braces, shock towers, and the RPM "tru track" a-arm setup, this thing is almost bulletproof!

This truck is badass! I tried a couple 3s packs & it was totally insane & unnecessary ... I stay with 2s 5000mah 60c & get almost 25 min solid 3/4 throttle runs. I made the mistake of getting 25c packs initially & ended up with swollen packs from the Esc's enormous demand. Also- you've gotta get 1" offsets & tape your choice of tire to prevent tire expansion.

i have this truck and it does'nt go 40 45 mph out of the box it does maybe 28 mph if you whant it to go 45 mph you have to use two 2s lipos witch a i will be getting for it in the spring when it stops snowing here in canada

Hey all because you read the manual in your kit doesn't make you a professional R.C.er, so let people talk their talk and shut up about it !! do you even know why the antennae is so short versus a long antennae? is because a 2.4ghz Rx has a very high refresh rate and thus can be shorter, versus the longer AM modulation antennae which has very slow signal rate thus needing a longer antennae to receive the proper signals!! stop spending mommy's money and get a job, buy one yourself!!

@Turboman7i well it depends because the e-maxx is an off road truck that isnt meant to be on the race track. the slash 4x4 was made for the track now it can still go off road but not nearly as good as the e-maxx can i have both and i use the e-maxx for off road and all that stuff. then i use my slash for the race track. so it actually depends on what you are going to be doing with it. if you are going to be off roading i say the brushless e-maxx, if you are going to be racing then the slash 4x4
