  • I want to see royler teach on youtube ;P

  • why'r the students so far away when they'r being taught?

  • these guys 2 are awesome

  • Wow of all the instructors I've seen on youtube this guy seems one of the best.

    Great tech! em

  • I'm glad this is a fast move from sitting up and getting back down quick because I used my legs to pull a guy backwards as he stayed sitting up too long.

  • 7:10 - 8:00 Master Rickson Gracie had a totally different view on that. Once the guy on bottom establishes a "connection" with the top guys hips even the hip thrust that is being showed doesn't work. Great instruction though. Ryron and Rener are hands down one of the top three instructors in thr world today, in my opinion. Attention to detail and logic behind moves are amazing. Good job!

  • @rich85seal

well explain why rickson said it doesnt work.. i dont understand how u can hip thrust the guy to the side when he's got superhooks in

  • I think he explains details better then anyone else

  • Martial Arts are so unique and diverse! <3

  • good shit...

  • don't try the second "defense" he shows with gi..lol

  • he explains tec very very well!

  • Royce Gracie's face appears on Rener's left hip @ 8:18.

  • wilparadigm, with my couple thousand hours of mat time, I know what I'm talking about. But, you keep groveling in your ignorance.

  • We done.

  • It's too bad it is IMPOSSIBLE for the Gracies to bend the fingers back of their opponents. Everyone knows that a finger bend is something that can only be done TO a Gracie and not BY a Gracie...

  • theres nothing showy or intricate about gjj, these moves are from blue belt and higher where your opponent is a trained grappler.Finger locks are very low percentage against a trained grappler and would get you knocked out in a striking situation

  • I knew the gracies were acclaimed world wide for their martial arts technique but they may be even better instructors.

  • i love the depth and detail of their instructions.

  • nice school

  • These guys are awesome! Gracie all the way!

  • Amazing professionalism.... The furure of the Gracie family is in good hands, these young men and Roger,Kron, etc!

  • LOL @ I just felt something unique!

  • Great, I love the mount and the strong guys always push this way.

  • this guys are natural...cool escape..

  • You are both just excellent excellent instructors. Many thanks.

  • i gree.

Incredibly good verbal instruction by Hener, and excellent movement coordination by Hener and Hyron.

  • nice move... There is a counter I know you If he has your neck like that and he is down on you. u would grab is arm pits and lunch forward untell your hands are striaght not bent. Then put your hands behind his butt launch him forward. its very effective..

  • i like how he talks

  • I have a question.... When you lean back so the guy below cannot push you, what if he uses his legs too hook you in the stomach and push you all the way back?

  • Right when that crazy flexible dude hooks your stomach with his legs, just use your hands to uncross and push them off your stomach (trust me it's really easy)

  • thx alot

  • Hmm? According to the Gracies themself you can get 1 stripe on your blackbelt every 3 years. How many does Renner have now> He got his black belt at thye age of 18 and he is what... 23, 24 years old now?? Interesting how Rorion is trying to turn the GA into a cult of sorts. He has allready given as many stripes on his sons belt as legends like Royce and Royler wears. That's just WRONG!

  • royce and royler are each 6th degree black belts

  • the oldman gave them the stripes ,not rorion.so if you dont like it, complain to helio.

  • That is just the guidelines set by BJJ federation. Helio Gracie gave them the stripes. If you have any reason for them being unqualified to hold that many stripes then talk about it concerning Helio Gracie

  • stripes in bjj are a bunch of crap anyway and say nothing about ability to fight or teach. You get them for just time in grade so if youre a black belt long enough youll be an 8th or 9th degree which means absolutely nothing.

  • that's completely wrong...stripes in bjj are only awarded for time once you have your blackbelt..before that it IS supposed to be skill. and also obviously your ability to teach is going to be better the longer you have been doing it that is just common sense

  • im talking about after black belt.If someone cant teach effectively.they rarely get better with time.Grades of black belt arent related to performance.Even in traditional martial arts there are physical requirements for dan grades. Its ridiculous the way some nuthuggers argue about who has what degree of alack belt.

  • i know that. and that's true..

  • @billysue2 a 9th degree black belt means somethin to me...

  • @JMoore4291 it means youve been active in bjj for about 40 years and get along well with the other high grades, that is the extent of its significance, its the same in every style.9th degrees wear a red belt, not black.

  • @billysue2 i thought instead of a 10th degree black belt you got your red? like theres no such thing as a tenth degree black belt cuz u get ur red belt, like instead of a 5 stripe white belt you'd just be a blue belt, not sure about it but are u sure theres only 8 degrees on a black belt? i could be wrong but for some reason i thought it was 9 then red...

  • @JMoore4291 thers no 10th degree in bjj, only the founder can have it.9 is the highest and they wear red.I couldnt care less about belts, they mean nothing after black in bjj and mean nothing before it in most styles. The last thing you should be concerned about is belt colour.

  • who cares,stripes are a joke anyway.

  • This video just showed me another option of how to escape Mount thank you guys ^_^

  • Great stuff as always guys. Keep it real.

  • HEY!!!!! GRACIAS AMIGOS....

  • I learn so much every time I visit the Academy. These two are phenomenal teachers! Thanks for the videos and thanks for the training!

  • tx, great as usual.

where can i find the thrust mount escape, regards

  • it's just bridging man

  • @chushinyoku, as with many bjj techs it all in the details so i like to know more about this one. (yep i am a plain white)

  • I know it's all in the details but a bridge in wrestling is just like a bridge in BJJ. I've been taught both and though not perfectly identical, they're the same basically. If you want to know what a bridge is search for "wrestler's bridge"

  • hahahahahaha...just bridging man...hahahahaha why dont you go to the academy and show them how your skills are the same..hahahahahaha
