What arrogance, who the hell are you to ask god to alter his plan for the universe and everything in it. You must think you are the cats ass. Incantation does not change the world, only action. How many people prayed for smallpox to be eradicated do you suppose? All it took for that "miracle" (haha) was a scientist WORKING on the problem using logic, wishing does absolutely nothing. Praying without action is worthless.
Action without praying is also worthless.
Pray then get off your Butt, and do something, Your asking God to do something, So you better get up and work.

is worth more than a million pairs of hands clasped in prayer.
Prayer is an excuse to stay comfortably at home
while feeling like you are helping others.
Prayer is nearly always a substitute for getting involved.
Or, in the case of praying for the sick,
a substitute for common sense.
If you want to help,
unfold your hands and get involved!
