I really dont understand how the government or military confirmed that yes, a ufo has been recovered and and then days later change their story and said, no it was a weather balloon. If they were as smart as they claim to be, then how can they not tell the difference between an alien spacecraft and a weather balloon bc if they cant then they must be retarted or something

@kawridr6 They covered up the story so they could keep the technology for themselves. For 24 hours the world knew the truth (that an alien space craft had crashed in Roswell) then the military made up a story so they could take control of the UFO and wouldn't have to answer to anyone they could do tests on the space ship and what ever they wanted to the UFO. The balloon story was total B.S. but back then people didn't question what the military said. Most believed the balloon story.

@eminemineminem Yeah, every source of evidence they tried returned absolutely nothing and then they just randomly speculated that a strong magnetic field could trip a relay and short circuit some of the onboard systems of the plane. But if that was the case then the magnetic slage would have to be right next to that relay because magnetic force drops off exponentially with distance.
