  • I envy all the advanced races in the universe. In this universe, we are like an electron next to our earth. We think we're intelligent life. I bet that there are aliens landing and exploring new planets everyday. Most people would think this comment is retarded, but stop being so close minded and you'll understand.

  • Space elevator??? wut?

  • NASA itself claims that we are not going to Mars before 2035...

And BTW I just typed "Mars base" in Google and found half of your pictures :)

  • if they want to do that they have to build much bigger ships so a space factory orbiting earth to build a large ship in space, then have it go to mars and launch lunar bases from orbit then building material and compressed oxygen.

  • Pure facts

  • Need a Moon base first.....the long distance to Mars rules out any mission or base there, for a very very very long time.

  • @stanleymoon I have to agree. The moon first then mars

  • they won't be wearing those space suits any more, there is a new skin tight model designed by a female space scientist, it look like a wet suit.... very fashionable.

  • They are planning a manned mission to Mars in 2030 they are hardly going to be able to live there when they get there. Butif we do have to live on Mars they would create an atmosphere by pumping oxygen it would take a while but it would be worth it

  • were usche tam were already there. *G*

  • i call bullshit 2070 make that 2100

  • man wants to return to mars? any one else remember going there?

  • @TobiasMartochko - yeeeeeeeah, I think he made a wee little typo...

  • @TobiasMartochko used to be a secret but it leaked. weve been there before believe it or not. point is were going again and were staying

  • @TobiasMartochko i did on my rainbow poptart cat, who was filmed and posted on the internet.

  • @litwana I agree too aliens haven't been proven right but they haven't been proven wrong either

  • Wishful thinking, i'm afraid. As long als people can't live together as one, no substantial progress can be made on any field exept of the art of killing each other.

  • More like moon base...

  • Comment removed

  • Space travel,Suspended Animation,Anti-matter Engines,Space colonies,Nano Tech,and encountering aliens is not science fiction

  • @packraptor100 I agree. It soon will be science fact

  • MrErix you are way off anti-matter engines might be the answer to this problem and we get closer to figuring out suspended animation every year.

  • more like.. 2130

  • Also I have a videos posted not about this but about video games and other stuff I don't get very many views so please watch my videos

  • I may just be a kid but I'm a very smart one so please listen to me 2012 will probably not be the end of the world are ozone layer will last us longer than that we have some time to prepare but there is not much time sadly the ozone layer might collapse sometime in 2019 or later we need to change are ways so we have more time to get ready to colonize another planet before it's to late!!!

  • Progress is to slow within a Caitalist society plus the system leaves too many people behind. Transition into a Resource Based Economy would expedite our progression into space exploration including Mars.

  • Nevermind, It was of the last of the Mohicans theme

  • What music is that?

  • No funds.

  • bull shit 2050 at the earlyist probly 2070

  • @701shep NO bullshit... our technoligy is inproving exponentially.... so 2030 at it LATEST..... and 2020 at it earliest....

  • @TigerMeet2142 You talk shit 2020 is 8 years away 2030 18 years , you wont have even been back to the moon by then. china will beet you to both.

  • @701shep would you kindly spell check on your comments before arguing you stupid fags?

  • @megakillerx you do the same is there more than 1 of me were not like the fat bastard yanks ya no , we eat for one person not ten like you cunts

  • @701shep Hell yeah,i'm gonna live to see that!

  • @TheUltimateDown1 im not i mynt see china step on the moon il'l be lucky to see china step on mar in 2040

  • @701shep

    Never,only in 3500

  • @701shep Nah , my calculation showed that it will be 2043 .....

your comment and this video are both bullshit , and the way that you think you know the time make it a double bullshit , so you and the video together could make a triple tasty bullshit! congrats!

  • @Jeesus2011 obama just cancelled all mars mission with robots so what chance is there of humans doing it.

  • @701shep i don´t think even then we´ll be on mars it will probably take up to hundreds of years before and actual human being can make foot on mars, look how close the moon is and what an effort it cost us to get there

  • INTERESTING PICTURES. IS SAD THAT WE ARE SO INTERESING ON OTHER PLANETS SPEND SO MUCH MONEY IN RESEARCH AND EXPEDITION, AND OUR OWN PLANET EARTH HAVE SO MANY PROBLEMS. AND NOONE CARE TO HELP OUR OWN PLANET.

  • Thats not true, not even all the satellites they put into orbit to get datas

of earth temperature, oceans salinity, melting ice, mangnetic field, the ozone layer, to watch out for astroids, datas how the ozeans are rising, weather can warn people of incoming tsunamis, hurricans ... New technologies, microprocessors are made possible by these men, sience in space are helping man on earth, sience can show politicans and industry we need to care! Solution World Growing Population & More..

  • ...and these are only mention the sience working in Space in my 1st part! In the end we need to explore you can not save earth you never will, the earth will die and all life we know till now will die within, the only chance life got, is mankind and not only mankind it has to be mankind that will explore into space, because comic nature did not make earth to be here forever! So we can care and be not egoistic because more generation will follow or we just sit, wait and die all !

  • @ILoveDominikaDetko Well according to everybody we are doom in 2012. There is red ball planet coming to Earth, called Nibiru, some people say is fake others is real. I dont know. All I know is the earthquakes are often, and the oceans are rising. There is also, a conspiracy of this goverment when it comes to Allien lives and contacts with them, and UFo etc too many speculations that it actually makes sence to me. Accoring to the Egyptians and Mayan the 2012 is a year where life ends.

  • @ILoveDominikaDetko I strongly agree with other planets explorations for habitation of humans in it. But the problem is that not all humans will be elected to get there or to get safe. I am not a religious person and I believe in science but I also believe in God, and if something is to happen that awfull, I guess all is left to do is pray. Cause there is no way we can't avoid Earth Catastrophes for whatever reason is happening.

  • @sisixxx I do understand now, I´m sorry, I am Atheist, but sometimes it´s good when religous people pray, because it gives them strength and they can go on, also they come together in hard times and try to change things, but when all ends there is no need for that, so you can have all the prayers when we got there :) And when only few of us will make it thats enough life will have a way, instead it doesnt make sense to raise childs when all will go down someday, so we need to go.

  • It's such a deluded dream. If they can build a big glass dome, why not do it on earth to protect cities from upcoming catastrophes? The cost of flying a single person to Mars is more than most people will earn in their lifetimes. If we can't look after a ready-made biosphere, WHAT ON EARTH chance do we have to create it from scratch? Excuse the pun.

  • @aaronfromhastings

"A species either becomes space-faring or extinct"

    Carl Sagan

  • @AndrianGA Next you'll be quoting Captain Kirk at me. Humans are part of the Earth. That is all.

  • that is highly unrealistic, Stephen Hawkings reckons that it will more near 2500. I doubt no human will have even reached mars by 2030.

  • The idea of planet exploration and colonization has already been exist since 1640's by English Bishop and scientist, John Wilkins, the founder of Royal Society (early science organization)... The vision was there, we are beginning now, and just Imagine few centuries to come! Asteroid Mining, Manufactures in Space, Planet Terraforming!!

  • I dont get how getting ON mars is possible with the giant storms, sand storms, and the temp being -100 degree's. Getting a space station for mars orbit, or getting to mar's moon is far more likely, because there is no storms, and the temperchure is -0 to -5 degree's which is much more easy to prepair for.

  • @fightttttt

The warmest recorded day on Mars is 25C, the coldest recorded temperature on Earth is -85C

  • @AndrianGA No one lives in a -85 temperature. And mar's being warm for a short time then droping to the negetive in fahrenheit is unliveable. They cant keep heaters blasting for years none stop when theres no resources and sending them would cost millions-billions each time.

  • @fightttttt Well, you don't know if there is a energy source on Mars. plus you don't need a huge energy source for a green house

  • @AndrianGA Lol I know theres no energy source on mars, we would know. Glass and plastic wouldent stand up to a dust storm, plus a green house on a with freezing temp doesnt work.. that like saying you're going to build a green house to live on the south pole.

  • @fightttttt

"Glass and plastic wouldent stand up to a dust storm"

Says who? Have you ever heard of bullet proof glass?

Did you even google "Antarctica Green House" before opening your mouth?

No energy source on Mars? That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard, are you saying that the rovers aren't running on solar power? What about wind? Hydrogen? Fusion? Fission? Did you explore every corner on Mars and found no Uranium?

Personal incredulity does not amount to knowledge.

  • @AndrianGA You obviously dont know much about mars. The temp gets cold as −87 °C which is crazy, and it has the strongest dust storms in the solar system.

  • @fightttttt

You obviously don't know much of anything, the temperature on the Moon oscillates between -200C and 100C. Man was on the moon and survived, wow

  • @AndrianGA Fist off the temp is normal during daylight and is only cold during night, 2nd he left the moon after a short time, and the moon is alot closer to earth then mars is, so resources and many other things factor in, you're talking out your ass.

  • @fightttttt

    Normal?

    100C is normal temperature?

You are saying that a green house at south pole is impossible when there is on close enough, and you're saying I'm talking out of my ass?

  • @AndrianGA First off I dont go by c, if you think you could live on mars and not die, please volunteer you'reself, you can act as the russian monkey. Please, please try to get involved in the misson, go to nasa, get a degree, please get on that ship to mars.

  • @fightttttt

    lol

    damn you're stupid.

scroll down through your posts and show me where are not using C ?

  • @AndrianGA My 1st post to you, I tell you I use fahrenheit, not lisening is you're problem. You're stupid buddy.

  • @fightttttt

I initiated the conversation with you saying:

"...the coldest recorded temperature on Earth is -85C"

    Your reply was:

"@AndrianGA No one lives in a -85 temperature."

    The units remained as Celsius

And no, I'm not listing, I'm reading your messages, are you reading mine?

  • Actually, it would be a good thing to go there if Humanity was good enough, wise enough and old enough. But we are silly monkeys, manipulated by the hyperclass and I really think that if we do not succeed in the current historical global revolution, we will go there as control minded slaves of this system. Wake up people. Search for the truth. Investigate the Rothchilds, the banking system because THEY will finance such projects and THEY are evil.

  • We should consider "TESTING" these on the moon before even attempting to do it on mars.

  • We are centuries away from having the technology to do any of that. Until then, there is no viable reason to attempt travel to Mars. "Because it's there" isn't sufficient reason when we have so many monumental problems on THIS planet. It's just another dead rock in space. Maybe we should figure out how to take care of this planet before we try our luck with another? Not only should we not send people Mars, but we should stop sending probes. The resources are need here.

  • @gurumagoo If everyone had that attitude we'd still be living in caves.

  • @antred11 If everyone had that attitude we might take care of each other and our planet. We wouldn't be worthless, braindead zombies walking around with an iphone stuck up our asses. If everyone had that attitude we might spend more money on life than we do on death.

  • @isthereanythathasnt3

Space elevator? Your saying that they will make an elevator to space? Unless im thinking of an actuall elevator, it would have to extend because earth and mars dont orbit at the same speed, it'll also have to be flying because if is connected to the ground, earths rotation will break it

  • Mars has hazardous radiation rays that can mess with youre Neuron and DNA system..

I would not even take 1 step over there unless the have a pretty darn good sollution to keep that from happening..

  • This is all bullshit. There is no life or viable atmosphere on Mars for a very good reason: Mars has no magnetosphere. People living on Mars would have short lives. Why? Because they would all die of cancer. Cosmic rays are a bitch.

  • @gurumagoo you dont think folks will be lounging around in bathing suits out in the sun,do you?lol! of course the building designs will need to be just like lunas, underground in vast complexes that will have to be thick, lush, manmade JUNGLE with a great deal of plants.we can bring in 02 to fill it to more than we need, then the plants will circulate it all,and only so many pepole can be there at once. areas would have to be closed to pepole weeks on end to bring levels of air back up.

  • im guessing because of lower gravity their children will be taller but weaker since there is not too much pressure on the mussles. also more blood will go towards the brain during the day so they will probably become smarter.. just a guess though and since most of their foods and exercise and everything will be healthy and perfect there is a very likely chance they will become more smarter than common humans. just have to see what effect the difference in magnetic field and radiation will have

  • w/e= are already there.

  • a base on mars have to be covered or build under the surface to protect the crew from the radiation. just one solar storm and the adventure turns into a expensive grave.

  • @moxigen Mars is further away from the sun than Earth so there would be LESS not more radiation.

This is all BS anyway. There IS atmosphere on Mars, there ARE trees and water, so there will be no space suits with breathing apparatus, and there has been a base there for a god damned long time anyways.

You leaders just don't want you to know the truth, that Mars is already inhabited.

  • @myastroflight please tell me what kind of drugs you take?

  • @myastroflight I loved the first part of your comment, however the second part...really?! what have you been smoking? xD

  • great pics....on a nice Marsian day, of course :)

  • Hi hi! Have you ever tried intellectus list building (google it)? Ive heard some unbelivable things about it and my cousin got tons of cash pumping subscribers added to their list.

  • @dpattiris they will have to constantly work out with bungy cords to minimize muscle deterioration

  • Keep moving forward.

  • We will travel into space only IF we live that long. We are using up everything. We have to learn to be self-sufficient. How will you live on Mars if you use up everything? You can't keep getting supplies from home to populate the galaxy. Are you going to turn the earth into a green house? Are you going to grow all the food on it? What happens if the earth is destroyed? Silly people. If we only learn to use what is here efficiently. We will have everything we need for as long as we need it.

  • @johnnnyreb51 Dont be so nihilistic. Human have only harvested about a tenth of a percent of the resources on Earth. We produce so much food that nearly 30% of it is thrown away. Yes we do use alot of resources but not that much. You must be referring to fossil fuels. Well that wont be much longer. An automated base on Luna can easily harvest vast quantities of Helium-3 which CERN states is a much more viable fuel for fusion reactions. But wed still use oil to produce plastics.

  • @overusedoxymoron2003 Plastics made from oil are killing us. We do not own this world, we brow it from our CHILDREN. It's their future we are screwing up. And a biodegradable plastic can be grown from soybeans. We are killing our children's future.

  • "Man wants to return to Mars." We've never been there -- at least not "on the historical record." Fun video though.

  • @RoscoesRiffs : Actually there is talk within the scientific community that there is a possible that baterial life from Mars may have come to Earth and thrived. Who knows?

  • Lest build a base on the moon first ppl

  • @Fireandersen lets learn how to spell first dick head..

  • They put down nasa's money just to be able to kill arabians... What a shame on America, what a shame for an entire human race.

  • too bad nasa has been shut down by the government.....fuck you obama. obama, aslo fuck you for pretty much killing GM. and also fuck you for raising taxes, not creating a single permanent job, and raising gas through the roof. aslo fuck you for being the first black potus, hoefully we dont get another.

  • Its good to dream, and I wish for the same thing, however ... IMO ...there are too many christian liberals fighting against such things. Good visuals!

  • Very suitable background music!

  • We humans are like viruses, extracting resource from one cell and infect others.

  • I find this video quite interesting! Being a musician myself, I also appreciate the good music in the soundtrack!

  • NASA isnt funded enough for 2030 to happen... maybe if the exploration of space had better funding and was a little more prioritized than other issues... I really wish this country/World would reconsider whats really important in the world... Humans are devouring our own natural resources and over populating... we need to find ways to artificially create resources and find a means of expanding our species beyond this planet.

  • This is realistic the space elevator will be operational in 2018 and we will have laptops in our homes that are smart as us in 2020

  • We never went to mars we went to the moon though

  • try 2130 maybe then

  • i think youl find it wont be usa goin to mars first

it will be the efficient europeans chinese and indians, mayb russia, who work together, exept russia, instead of struggling to compete

also they dont just throw money at a project to make it work

they work with companies like virgin to attempt to make it comercialised, profitable and improve reputation instead of it being seen as a drain on tax payers money

america no longer has any money to throw at it any more, havin said that europe doesnt

  • I think a giant rocket fuel pipeline should shoot up into space from earth then you could refuel space ships and rocket fuel space stations in space and it would make stuff easier.

  • @omega4chimp good idea, rocket fuel = hydrogen and oxygen

u cud mayb use solar power on moon to break down water molecules on the moon into constituent parts (hydrogen and oxygen) when burnt this makes water again

burn a shit load of H & O on mars & u'l b puttin water vapour into atmosphere, even in frozen snow form it is a good greenhouse gas, it'l warm the mars up. warmest temp recorded on mars equator in summer is -5degC, get it above 4 deg C and it will evaporate and rain! microbe time!

  • Comment removed

  • @neogastropoda1 and a solare flare will roast you

  • well...time to go shoot some wamp rats in my T-16. XD

  • Space belongs to every living being in the universe. We are made from the materials made the universe, the sun, the earth... us.

  • @jukioh space does not belong to Russia, it's not like "first one to space owns the whole thing.", and, earth is in space, (assuming) adam was the first human, therefore, adam owns space. Imbecilic child.

  • i guess you can say, up to the solar system is 'our' space like pirates saying its our 'waters'.

since your talking about jesus, im gonna take a wild guess and say your religous.

  • Comment removed

  • we could get there by space elevator? do you know what your saying? If you mean a massive tunnel that literally leads to mars, no way. Asteroids would destroy it regularly.

  • @PlaneAU not just that its take like a couple weeks to get to mars so who's gunna stay in a elevator for three four weeks?

  • That's bullshit Jukio, space doesn't just belong to Russians, do you know what space is? You're so simple minded it's frightening. Space belongs ti stars planets and EVERYTHING. "it belongs to Russians not us" fucking moron.

  • Awesome! And most Americans will still be working for $8.00 an hour.

  • um, doubt it will be the us, cause they pretty muched stopped their space explorations

  • USA will not make any more space trips

  • @kurreproduction1 .....to the space station orbiting the earth, but they will definitely enter space again. There is probably 1 planet out there that has enough oil for them to go to.

  • @AttackOfTheInterwebs Lets hope so :D

  • @kurreproduction1 well thats for rite now obama is being stupid so once hes no longer president a new on will come along and start making trips again

  • I dont know about China... They barely left the ground... Russia, EU, USA (maybe, if politics fall into place and there will be no economic depression)...

  • i think it would be sad to leave earth, all the history and architecture forgotten forever, it really would be sad to leave :(

  • @joc69uk32 Why says it has to be forgotten? Mars is a planet, not a torture prison.

  • @ixcaliber i mean if earth becomes inhabitable

  • @joc69uk32 eh, its not sad, because earth will still be there. when people first came to americas, they formed new architectures, new histories, and it will be the same for mars and where ever we go to, that is if nothing happens to us. this is good thing, spreading humans everyone in the universe, its what life does

  • Great scientific pictures and great architectural mechanics.Based on our colonization this may be terraformed and be the new human race.Life is not about making yourself it is about finding yourself.Im only 11 an i know alot. I hope everyones dream come true to go to space and explore what is based on our future. This may happen.

  • I don't agree, but the theoretic images of architecture, and mechanics are insightful to ponder upon.

  • Oh and I forgot to mention... we dont need 5 elements, we only need 3. They are: water, electricity and metal. Water for drinking and bathing. Electricity for light and power. Metal for shelter. If we want to TERRAFORM(note the emphasis on terraform) mars then we need 5 elements, and belive me when I tell you that terraforming is a tedious task.

  • to colonization in Mars. human needs five elements Fire Water Wood Metal Earth. without 1 of the element, human cannot survice in Mars. 2nd For travel. so far we still did not have a scientist to invent Chorosphere to act like space bridge pass throught space and time. Or spaceship that travel in the speed of light.

  • if this happens in 20-30 years i would for sure go if i was asked i am 15 right now and by the time i am 35 or 45 i will prob be bored of earth

  • @RedGyser No, Mars needs global warming. You are thinking about venus. Mars was most likely hit by a planet killing asteroid or something that knocked its atmosphere off, which any planet is vulnerable to.

More reason to colonize Mars really. It's death just shows the mortality of Earth as well. We should master the tech to go to any heavenly body for self defense, and colonize another world for a backup.

  • @monokhem

You humanoids just asking for war with aliens!

  • I wonder,who is going to start 1st Mars War.-China?India?

  • @vipmig69 America?

  • While thinking about this, my imagination goes wild unleashed by the possibilities of such endeavor. We "humans" are capable of doing amazing things, we are capable of doing so much good. We are also capable of destroying all the beauty around us. Let's hope for the best!

  • too bad we will be left 4 dead on earth sadly we wont be the space traveling generation i belive we are the generation for truth and a greater humanity of understanding and love..

  • This is great, but not realistic. At the closest point it takes 6 months to travel to mars. Mars is only this close ones within 26 months. If we want a small base or a solid place to operate, we should already work on it very hard from now on, and leave in 2012, so we can have something decent in 2036 or so. Stay with both your feet on the ground people!

  • mars is USA territory like the moon hoes!

  • @chrisstevensjunior your stupid, anything beyond our atmosphere belongs to anyone, no one could claim these territories. russia has been to the moon, and i think china will go there to, they dont need any permission

  • @juki0h your stupid sir they can't do anything they want maybe they will but since the US is first, they have to get some permission

  • @chrisstevensjunior you make no sense, i had to read your comment like three times to understand what you said

  • @juki0h well USA was the first but sorry for the argument :P

  • @chrisstevensjunior well actually russia was the first to go into space and to send a man into space, so space belongs to the russians, not the us. but anyways, the us is out of the space program, obama shut it down, china, russia and europe will go to space

  • @juki0h yea but i though they already went there with the ISS in space international space station

  • @chrisstevensjunior but we will be back

  • This gave me the shivers, in a good way.

Is the fact that we now have so many problems on earth a sign that we are reaching our carrying capacity?

And, I see no reason why we can not do both at the same time.. Provided that people(individuals) were less talk, more action.

And, are there really more problems in the world? Or are we just better informed about it these days?

  • it would be a good place to set up a prison

  • Would be good if all Countries United Under one Banner and all cultural & racial differences were put a side. all space programmes could come together and we could see space exploration and colonization sooner than expected. As steven hawking said, its our primitive nature to cause war (well it isnt mine) and we could destroy ourselves (Nuclear war) the way to avoid this is by spreading out into space. which needs to start happening soon

  • why did you say return to mars

  • I want to sell real estate on Mars. That's my dream :)

  • Why Leave The Monetary System?

As humans evolved, a primitive trade for goods and services evolved with us. This system has grown more complex and now the monetary system has reached a plateau, having achieved its maximum capability but with great deficiency. We can be grateful that it has served to take us this far, but this greed based system now corrupts humanities potential in undesirable ways and if we look upon our planet with honest intelligence....

  • @arshdeep125 , we must recognize that it's time to peacefully and intelligently move forward in a new way. It is time to transition from the monetary system to progress to our next stage of human evolution. Mankind will one day look back to our century as barbaric, inhumane and uncivilized. If you are blind to the problems (since we are a cultural ethnocentric product of this system) and why change is needed away from our current monetary system, here is a list for you to contemplate:

  • @arshdeep125 1) Every day, over 16,000 children die from hunger-related causes--one child every five seconds. Every year 15 million children die of hunger and 1.02 billion people across the world are hungry. In essence, hunger is the most extreme form of poverty, where individuals or families cannot afford to meet their most basic need for food. Even more are malnourished. 1 In 2008, nearly 9 million children died before they reached their fifth birthday.

  • I'm dreaming that I'm going to be one of the astronauts send to Mars - even though the idea is frightening, it's also amazing. Besides, the nine months of traveling would provide me plenty of time to write a book. :P (By the way, writing is my hobby)

The thought of going is, of course, scary- but it's also amazing at the same time. I mean - I'd be getting the most awesome job on the planet! Uhh... I mean... in our solar system! :P

  • To bad this wont happen probably by that time, seeing as we all choose money over progress.

  • @MrGameRewiev i think thats bullshit

  • Thats cool what happens if you don't pay rent do you get kicked out to space?

  • dude ok about mars , but we haven't even finished to explore the earth and we already have to go to mars :(?
