An older friend of mine recently lost the most precious thing he had for 61 years. His dearly beloved wife. They were deeply in love even after all this time together. There are tears in my eyes as I write this with the Billy Holiday tune playing in the backround. My friend still places the little teddy bears back on the bed where his Annie placed them.
