Well, I have MacBook Pro, iPhone 4S, and new Apple TV. All of these YouTube videos start with the screen already UP ... why does not ANYONE put up a video showing how to set this up ... Apple peeps that answer that phone ? Half of them can't even tell me how to get voice mail off my new iPhone, so surely they won't be able to set up AppleTV

can you switch between you Apple Tv Features & screen and go back and forth with your normal cable TV channels? like if Im watching a movie on the Apple TV but then something comes on The Discovery Channel or something that i want to watch, can i pause the movie and switch to my regular TV?

I currently have Apple TV and I LOVE IT. I think it's great compared to some other devices that use Netflix as well. Such as Xbox 360, PlayStation, and even some BluRay Players. The issue with those is that they're huge compared to this tiny Apple TV. Though I did wish it did a little more, I'm VERY content with it and can't wait to see what else Apple comes up with...

Roku box is better. Apple if you buy TV shows or movies you better back them onto a hard drive or DVD-R. Apple only give one free download if you had computer problems.

With Roku box I can buy TV shows from Amazon and stream all the content from Amazon servers for free. So with Roku I never have to deal with backing up content like Apple TV.

Good review !! for $99 it's definitely worth it.It's also worth noting that the device will likely run ios apps.Steve jobs hinted at the notion earlier this month and there's plenty of evidence backing the idea.I mean there's an 8gb flash memory on board.That could only mean it'll store apps, unless it's being used to cache videos at the moment.Also, considering that google tv will be released with apps at launch, it only makes sense for apple to do the same.That's why competition is good.

Also, how is this cheaper than netflix if you rent more than 9 things a month? Like seriously, netflix is alot cheaper than this if you actually use it and don't use it as a coaster, like all other apple products.

For 100$ I would buy an HDMI cable, run it through the wall to the TV, then take the wireless keyboard to the living room. Total cost: about 5$, Features: Hulu, YouTube Games, Netflix, REAL Web browsing, Music, 1080p movies, Pictures...etc. I need a PC regardless so this thing is pretty much pointless even if it was 50$.
