yea, I went to this shit, missed the bulk of lupe (saw the beginning and it was sick), and I really wanted to see Ghostland Observatory. Kanye really was "outperformed" by everyone else. Show started at 4:30 and the sun rise ruined his lightshow.

Well Kanye waited till 4:30 to start his set, by then everyone had stopped playing, including Phil (which I won't get into now). And fyi, the scene at What Stage leading up to his show was aweful, never ever heard so much booing at bonnaroo, and the by the time the sun came up which was around when he started the crowd was very thin, never seen the mainstage like that.

I'm still kicking myself in the ass for missing Lupe, Talib, and Ghostland Observatory to watch his 50 min, half- assed, over-scripted, excuse of a performance. The hype over his "performing" skills is ridiculous.

Man what a disappointment. First he changed his set time for god knows what reason (probably because he wanted everyone to be at his performance and not at anyone else's) and then he comes on past 4 am. I was back at camp by the time he finally came on, and wasn't upset at all I missed him. I would have rather been watching Phil Lesh.

Bonnaroo is not the place for this guy.. he has too big of an ego to be called an artist. Yeah he can sing and make beats but hes not a true artist.

It says a lot that Kanye managed to turn a crowd of previously ecstatic music fans into dejected and frustrated bunch. We managed to keep it positive during the delay, but the show was a massive letdown.

NOTHING was glowing in the dark, the lightshow SUCKED compared to most other performers (see: MMJ), his stage presence was WEAK, and that ridiculous theme and dialog with the spaceship was straight moronic. Bonnaroo certainly learned a lesson about booking divas.

It was foolish of Kanye West to surround himself by all those "real" musicians...Bonaroo is a festival for people with intelligent tastes in music...Kanye west is nothing more than an MTV "entertainer", a modern day jester, who's role is simply to amuse an easily amused American public.
