He got a 1 game suspension for it. In the video you can't see Kennedy come off the bench after the whistle and then goes after Schenn. That is an offense punishable by suspension. I might add that suspension was handed out long before you posted your comment. Maybe you should look into it before making a comment like that.

He didn't jump off the bench. He went on the ice and then went to Schenn. And Schenn saw him and knew that he want to fight, so everything is alright.

So what you're saying is that it is impossible to prove that a player leaves the bench with the intent to fight, and therefore there shouldn't be a rule about it. You don't know what intent Kennedy had. He came off the bench and the first thing he did was go to Schenn and try to start a fight. To me that looks like he had the intent to fight. The league agreed... so give up on your useless viewpoint and accept the fact that it's wrong to leave the bench after the whistle and start a fight.

Kennedy wasn't on the ice for the play, so therefore the Penguins had to have at least 6 players on the ice, if not more. Everybody was paired up, so I'd call it an even situation... EXCEPT for Kennedy. Schenn was locked up with Talbot when Kennedy came on.
