  • tem que ter muito amor a profissao mesmo!!!

  • This is soo cute

  • It's not dead

  • OMG! That looks so difficult, I mean I've given birth to 2 babies myself, but with horses is just seems like the baby is soo big! It amazes me that such a large baby is able to fit out of the mom, but she did great! Its really terrible that he died though, what a dissappointment =(

  • i read the decription... but i still think that he pulled on the legs to hard. O_O

    sorrey about Casper :(

    wish you luck with your next birth :D.

  • @DZodiark10 He did it right. He didn't use chains or rope, like I have seen some people do. He kept tension on the foal, without pulling too much till the mare had a contraction, then he pulled. It was a job well done. Sorry they lost the foal a few days later though.

  • I am sorry you lost him.

  • What's that white thing that I guess protected the baby?

  • How do they do this in the wild?

  • Absolutely well done for waiting for her to push. Some who upload these videos are hopeless!

  • hey, i subed, Can you post some more vids of casper? He is very beautiful, you are so lucky to have him

  • @reininghorses57 ill reply for the video owner as it may be difficult for them to answer if you had read the description you would of found out that they lost Casper when he was 12 days old due to joint ill.

  • @KatieTurnerx oh, thats so sad! :( Im so sorry foro Phamtom, and the owners. Sometimes...life ids not fair

  • @tleesweets we just usually wrap the mares tail when shes giving birth so its out of the way i just find that easier i never said you needed to or that it was mandatory and i didnt need or want your bitchy comment back

  • Im a guy and i give birth everyday. Its nothing! Well depending on what i eat.

  • help my baby is in my butt again oh help

  • musta hurt..!!!!!!! :)

  • ouch

  • @writeyourfuture25 what??

  • wow this is gay... GO CANCER!

  • COME ON PUSHHHH IT AHHHH SHHHH PUSH IT OHHH PUSH IT REAL GPPD

  • Beautiful!

  • Gah! The noises.... -hurls-

  • kinda weird when theres the babies horse legs sticking out of asshole

  • @lilmendler wrong hole. The anal opening is higher up. Foals come out of the vagina, just like the do in humans.

  • ewwwwwww thats so cross but cute too

  • idk why but my stomache started to hurt after watching this

  • Man, what did she eat?!

  • that look painful

  • I ♥♥♥ this video! i've been to scottsdale and everywhere! I ♥ it

  • it bothers me that horsiegal98 had an epadorial when she gave birth

  • now i know how do they make latex gloves from lol.

  • i turned off the volume.. before watching this but aww she was a good horsiee during the birth

  • Omg its discusting to watch I dnt think I could be there seeing my wife deliver..

  • @MrSami240 such a guy;)

  • it bothers me that you didnt wrap her tail...

  • @horsiegal98 we never wrap our mares tails when there foaling can i ask why you do this ive never heard of it before?

  • @horsiegal98 they dont have to wrap tail, get over it, they arent some high and mighty snobby people, and another thing, animals give birth in the wild all the time, and before we came along, im pretty sure tail wrapping wasnt on there mind!

  • @horsiegal98 Heh, I;dbe more worried about getting close to momma's hooves

  • @horsiegal98 it's not always possible to wrap their tails. And it can also collect fecal matter on the wrap which can then be spread around till it gets on the vaginal lips...which isn't a good place for it. And, if you go in right as her water breaks, you can actually cause the mare to postpone her labor, which can be very dangerous for the foal.

  • goood girl<3

  • no man what you should have done was helped her out by pulling on the legs a little bit but pull when she pushes + if it looked like she was having a hard time get the hell down there and help out man you don't just stand there you can always wash your hands when your done i help my cats out when they have a hard time getin um out and i pull when they push and the little kitten comes right out

  • @lil27mike27big don't advise pulling on the legs... but break the sack so the baby can get air...

  • ohhh cuteee

  • Sólo las hembras y las humanas al parir sabemos los que es el dolor.

  • whats the thing surrounding the baby?

  • @PUHcee Birthing sack

  • aww lol that horse it like..what r u waiting for PULL!

  • Aweh. Sorry to hear about Caspar.

  • Casper died 12 days after cause he could'nt stand up and starved guys.

  • Caspar died??? :'( did he or did he no

  • @XxPokeydotxX yeah the description says it :'(

  • @ MindFreak591 yes it is wrong

  • Yeaaaa..... No foaling doe NOT take 3 minutes, no problem if the mare needs a little help but that foaling should at least take about 10 minutes, Phantom was doing just fine and when you came and started pulling on the foals legs, you were pulling too hard, once again foaling does NOT take that long, think people!! your not a true horse person if you dont know this!!

  • @BungiJumpMeh1 that's why you let the horses mate on their own with out any one helping them all animals are not the same man why do you think god made all this shit and us

  • @BungiJumpMeh1 , you are right in some ways, but they did edit it so it could have taken longer. at my ranch we ONLY do assisted births just to make sure the baby and mommy will do alright .. but i agree that he should have timed his pulling with her pushing.

  • @BungiJumpMeh1 Actually....the actual birthing section can take just a few minutes. I know a 13 yr old TB that, from the time she laid down till the time she got up, was about 5 minutes. Of course it was her 10th foal, so she was a pro at it, and was stretched out too. And if you didn't notice, there was a split in the video, where they cut out a section of the video...so that cut down the time.

  • How did he die??

  • awwwwww so pain lol

  • ...ew?

  • awwwwwwww

  • Amazing job Phantom! She is such a good horse 4 being so quiet and calm during the birth.

  • Thankfully Im not a female horse....

  • Good Girl, Phantom!!! Sorry about the death of Caspar!!!! Beautiful video!!

  • @mindfreak591 uuuuuuuuh...........tmi

  • its sad that he died:(

  • i feel so bad! :(((

  • The only thing that botherd me was the sound

  • they should of braded her tail so it didnt get in the way

  • wow.... that was amazing!

  • @barrelracinghorses11 they were trying to leave it be, but the mare seemed to be exhausted and she needed the help. Most of the time the mares don't need assistance, but every so often, you need to intervene because of complications.

  • dang that stuff must smell...cute vid

  • your horses are beautiful!!

    Jen

  • @barrelracinghorses11 not always true. sometimes complications happen, mares can get tired if the foal is too big, etc.

  • u need to help the damn thing

  • A NATUREZA É TÃO LINDA!!

  • OMG!! i really want to have kids but after seeing this happen.......... nvm. and i've seen this happen with my horses

  • GROSS I HEAR LIQUIDS SPILLING!!!!

  • tht made my vagina hurt and i dont have one 0_o

  • is all of that sperm? o_o

  • @lilmisspimpin36

    lol no water like any female has when giving birth : )

  • @EquusLeilani im a female and i didn't even no that.

    stoopid *smacks head*

  • @lilmisspimpin36

    @-@ realy? now you do plus sometimes you can poo giving birth :P

  • @lilmisspimpin36 no its a umbilical sac,its kinda like a placenta I forget the purpose of it though

  • OUCH

  • Holy fack that must be painful!! :3

  • That was hard on that mare.My was easier.So how is the foal now?Stallion or Filly?

  • Awwieh. !!! What a beautiful horsey.(: it's so cute.

  • why was the foal being pulled out? Did the birth process go on for too long? I grew up on a farm and the only time animals were assisted was when there was complications.... A lot of human intervention going on....

  • @spiceyworkoutgal

    Nope i worked on a stud its normal and kind to help the mare just like humans some times have help from doctors : )

  • to keep sepsis away from foals the stalls should get a very good bleaching before birthing...it helps alot...but ur barn looks great and im so sorry to hear about ur foal dying=(

  • damn oh thas nasty

  • Before we got may (hence the name) she gave birth in July 09 and her foal died because it broke both back legs. We dont know during birth or after. May is rescued because of that purpose we think. But it was sad :(

  • y would u pull the foal i mean really

  • @spots625

    Because mares often need help during birth. Makes the process much easier.

  • Gross but cute : ) 

  • @hotrodferrari LOL!!!

  • poor little caspar :(

  • this horse needs its asthma inhaler

  • he probally got joint ill because you pulled his legs like that your supposed to let them do it there selves and im sorry to here he died

  • poor guy looks so painful and poor little pony!!!

  • Casper died I'm sorry to hear that.

  • UR PULLING WHILE THE MARE ISNT CONTRACTING!!!!!!!!!!

  • @BreyerCrazy1011 Exactly. There are a great many bad horse owners.

  • ah..bless lil Caspar's heart.. Why did he die

  • dude...

  • I'm so sorry about Caspar. Mother Nature has her reasons, even if we don't understand them. Hopefully, Phantom's future babies will be alright.

  • nasty

  • u guys are stupid i think that the horse can push out the baby by herself! i dont think that if ur wife was having a baby u would grab the child out

  • Leave the horse be!!! As said before, they do it in the wild without a problem. The birth isn't supposed to be 2 seconds long. And stating that the death had nothing to do with the birth is absurd.

  • My candid opinion still remains that there is too much human interference in all these animal births. They do it in the wild without anybody's help and they are okay. God has made it so.

  • @demmyjoev I bet you'd still cry out for an epidural when it's your turn.

  • @demmyjoev yes but there are other horses around

  • are you referring to joint issues from not having the tetnus antitoxion?

  • Um... Gloves?

  • Why is this hoarse taking a dump that looks like a mini hoarse? ;_;

  • @MareBellator hahaha wow funni OH and in its sleep

  • Comment removed

  • SÜÜS EIN HAPPY AND

  • the foal is like... um.. help?

    hehehe

  • It's alright for humans to assist the birthing of any animal. We assist eachother, don't we? They just have to be smart and do it right.

  • looks painful X_X

    ur not supposed to pulled te foal out!!

    the man could have killed him, and the mare!!!

  • u get joint ill from the navel getting serious bacteria from the bottom of the stall into the foal..entire stall should be bleached real well before the foal is born and the foal needs ALOT of colostrum immediately after birth to help prevent such things from happening..did ur vet check the foal's levels of igf a couple hrs after birth??

  • I have a horse and trust me humans hav to assist the birth of horses

  • @MusicMad911 lol has your horse ever given birth or have you ever attended the foaling? Its horribly bad to assist a horse to have her foal when she's doing it just fine on her own. Thats how foals die

  • i was waiting for the dude to get squirted

  • not supposed to pull the baby out x. x

  • 1 thing for me to remember NEVER GET A GIRL HORSE

  • Unbelievable, yet true.

  • if you have ever seen a baby get shoulder lock you would pull too they suffocate.

  • don't pull. hard on the mare's uterus!

  • y pulling

  • well done Phantom! what a darling :)

  • isnt birth amazing? -so totally not grossed out by this and is lying- life is amazing -eyeshine-

  • so sorry u lost him. u did your best ;(

  • really cute horse...

  • push girl push!

  • ich kann davon zwar nichts lesen von dem was die da geschrieben haben aba egal.....das video is ganz in ordnung die geburt is problemlos gelaufen dann könnt ihr ja alle froh sein :)

  • Talk about eating your fiber

  • be careful pullin' him!

  • I'm new to the whole giving birth thing, and don't know much. What the heck is the sack of liquid thats hanging from it? Sorry if that's a bad question.

  • amniotic fluid

  • awes0me i like animals giving birth

  • COOL

  • Beautiful video and Im really sorry for the mother and the owner for the loss.

  • Is there any chance that the foal developed joint ill because of being pulled out instead of letting the mare foal naturally? I often think that we interfere to much when animals give birth.

    I know that pulling them out can damage not only the mare but can seriously damage the tendons of the foal. He did seem to be waiting for the contractions before pulling though. So sorry you lost him, very sad.

  • im soso sorry u lost him=(((

  • im so sorry you lost him... :(

  • pull it!

  • looks painfull

  • She was really struggling to foal.

  • Omg, o.o

  • wow never seen that happen before....

  • awe adorable congratulations he locks beautiful!

  • waao no gloves no stares

  • When you need to help, you don't care about getting dirty :)

  • hahaha.. its not a bird.. if the horse trust the owner, she let you touch all you want..

    Like saying "If your dog gets pups, DONT TOUCH THEM, OR THE DOG WON'T HAVE THEM" .. What if it needed help eh?

  • so cute, i guess the white fluid and sac is the amnioctic sac , which is what the baby grows inside of.

  • Isn it like the placenta?

  • yah,

  • what the white stuff around the baby horsey

  • sorry that he did not make it looks like the mare was having trouble birthing the colt... not sure if the pulling was good.. at least u did the pulling when mum was pushing...

    ~~~Dortae~~~
  • aww the foal is soo cute congrats
  • What a really pretty baby horse. CONGRATS!!!!!!!!!!1
  • yes you can actually, its a big help to the mare. you just pull gently at her contractions. so basically when she pushes, you tug. less stress on her.
  • yeah, and less pain..
  • Sad to hear Caspar died- but the way I see it, the man was pulling the foal out while the mother wasn't contracting- therefore the man is pulling on the foals legs, which can cause joint issues, like lamness or severe arthritis.
  • Comment removed
  • @callie33094
    The man pulling on the foal did not cause septic (infected) joints. Septic joints are caused by some compromise of the immune system (bacteria reaches joints through the bloodstream) or puncture into a joint capsule (bacteria into a joint from the outside).
