well, you can actually "defeat" mehrunes dagon enough time for martin to get inside the temple of the one, just use Sheogorath favorite weapon on him, Wabbajack will melt dagon for a while just with one hit, then you can get sweet ending, i was kinda hoping for a sweet final battle where all the guilds joined you to fight, thieves and dark brotherhood arriving from the roofs, mages and fighter guilds on the side, sheogorath soldiers and knights of the nine on the front lines, that would be epic

Bethesda is extremely good at making an NPC you know absolutely nothing bout and they make him/her/it sound like the most evil,bad ass villain ever and then when you finally confront them,it's just like a normal person that barely puts up a fight. Congrats Bethesda,you make the most epic quest lines of all time but give them the most disappointing endings in history.

Yeah i was hoping for some beastly Lich. But another fucking High Elf boss, i swear High Elf's were all the bad bosses/NPC's in Oblviion. High Elf NPC's were so involved in quests.

All by all, its a good game. But the bosses were shit. Even daegon or how ever his name was, was a hudge big dood, but you couldnt kill it at all ... TES 5 got dragons, I hope you can fight those at the end. Me like fighting HUDGE big monsters.

@GDZjeenik ~ When Oblivion came out, it was the best RPG at the Time (resp. Baldurs Gate or Planescape Torment) And yeeeees, Merunes Dagon wore nothing under his kilt... hehehe. However, it is only logical that Skyrim can only succeed it´s predecessor...

@Karzeri Ye but still hope I will get somewhere a big monster to kill. As i said, dagon was more background as a mob to kill. Also, when was playing TES4, I wished that for the 5th they would give us the whole world instead of just a region. I think morrowind was better as oblivion tho. It was more chalenging. In oblivion, at the end, I had a char that couldnt die at all (without mods or cheats) Just by standing and not doing anything, I could kill anyone. Too easy.

@GDZjeenik Cheats and Mods were only necessary to make this movie! ~ With a lot time to level up your char. No enemy was really hard to defeat. But thats not the point... it made fun. Morrowind was kind of... boring. If you are looking for huge,hard to defeat enemies then i suggest playing the final fantasy series. Or to stick to non open world games. Or to play such bug infested games like Fallout 3 :)

@GDZjeenik Yes and I believe in Daggerfall they had something called WereBoars which were like Werewolves but pigs which I found was kind of unique. Also Skyrim mentions something about WereBears so we may see Werebears in some DLC for Skyrim.

i saw the Mannimarco Revisited mod and he was so badass he was a lich in heavy dark armor with beast spells[awesome spells] and a powerful staff.he should have been the necromancer boss not this little elf bitch.

Depends on the difficulty, and if you run "deadly reflex", it gets quite interesting. ;)

I always play on hard, a necromancer can kill you with one spell, if you are not careful, don't underestimate him as being " just a necromancer".

The game doesn't make it lear if this guy is indeed Mannimarco, or just a necromancer that took his name.for effect. I don't think he's supposed to be the real MM because Bethesda could have easily used a reskinned Lich model to represent him. Hell, they did it with that Umbacano dude.

@CressetZ Couple things. First of all, if they did that, you wouldn't be able to loot his robes, just bone dust. Secondly, when I fought Umbacano, he was just his normal form with the crown and staff. What happened?

@lastride29 Nice fail bud. Cameron is voiced by Patrick fucking Stewart, that should be enough, but if it's not, he's a mixture of two species, one of which is High Elf, the other I don't remember. He's very unique in which he has class effects and whatnot, so yes, he is very fucking evil. However if you turn the difficulty all the way down then naturally he won't be very satisfying.

@lastride29 Mankar Cameron was excusable, since he was a cult leader, but a very powerful wizard, and his speech was really good. As for Mannimarco, he was in Daggerfall, and he became a god at the end. And he looked like a lich (like in the revisted version).

There is a Modification called Mannimarco Resurrection

after getting Archmage you can make some quests and Choose your side Necromancer or Archmage :D
