supposly, since all the DDR solo cabs have 2 sensors in each arrow, and DDR normal arcades have 4 sensors in each, in solo you have more probability of getting misses because pad

It is, the only problem being is that there's only 4 sensors per arrow, one in each corner.

Kind of hard to get a good score on songs because of it. Also, the pads sound like they're made of wood.

actually that's pretty inaccurate.

solo pads have two sensors in each arrow, as opposed to four, like a full machine. they're positioned next to each other in the center of the panel as well, so people that step lightly on the outsides of panels are likely to get pad errors.

the pads feel the same as doubles pads for the most part, but they are firmer because of the way they are designed.
