Nice work ! One of the targets of the Dolittle Raid on Japan by aircraft carrier launched B-25's was the factory producing these light tanks.

One of the most interesting ideas that the japanese had in their tanks was that they had no escape hatch, unlike all the european tanks of all participants.It sort of makes a comment on their atitude to the value of a soldiers life.

@adaorlando japan fought a navel air war not a ground war that wasnt inporten as much as navel and air. and tanks dont work well in forest.

@petrwarry1972 They though of making a very heavy tank just like german Jagdtiger. However due to allied bombings and resource shortage, they didn't even made a prototype.

Most of these tanks look like copies of outdated russian, french and british tanks.

Light single turret tanks with additional machine guns, big "char B" tanks and even bigger multi turret support tanks.

all of bolted construction and poor standardization.

However, i havent heard any reports of how these performed (the jap tanks) so i cant tell.

But im not so surprised if these are based on those tanks. The jap heavy machine gun is based on the french hotchkiss HMG.

they are all i think classified as armored and supporting infantry........ all of the tanks are lightweight easy access to other... countries else where in asia....imagine a tiger tank moving out in an amphibian vessel only 1 tiger per boat and this however carried three on the ships or 6 even per boat.....
