He's playing a Maton BB1200JH (it's his custom designed guitar). They're Australian guitars, really top quality, all hand-made... they sound great for many styles of playing. If you have money to spare definitely invest in one.

Usually I hate bands that have so much instruments going one at once. Example: Synth, keyboards, lap steels, rhythm guitar, lead guitar, bass, drums...all at once cause usually it sounds cluttered to me. Here it all just meshes together.
