i understand that it is almost impossible to do something that no-ones done before us... the beginning of the journey was about 4 billion years ago, since then thousands of billions of people and animals have lived on this planet, in that time i find it hard to believe that there's something our ancestors missed. even with enhanced mutations leading to flexibility, strength, or other things, the body only has a limited amount of movements... were just a river flowing over a bed of roots...
@WonderUPSB Yes it does but unfortunately it is wasted on this community, no HD, no mainstream appeal = less views....so unfortunate it actually makes me want to cry.
This video is to long, can you edit about out about 9:56 seconds? Thanks I think it will be more entertaining then. Black people did not start dance anyway!
MUCH RESPECT TO MIDUS FOR BRINGING THIS FOOTAGE TO ATTENTION TO A WHOLE NEW GENERATION OF BBOY AND GIRL'S, YOU CAN'T FRONT, HERE IT IS EVERYTHING COME'S FROM SOME WHERE ELSE WE JUST FLIP IT A LITTLE FROM ONE GENERATION TO THE NEXT, RESPECT ZULU BROTHER PERIL!
THIS NEEDED TO BE BROUGHT TO ATTENTION AS NOTHING IS REALLY NEW ITS JUST A HYBRID OF DIFFERENT DANCE FORMS FROM ALL ACROSS THE GLOBE & CULTUR'E'S , YOUR RITE ON THE MONEY WITH THIS FOOTAGE WORD TO YOU MIDUS PEACE & KNOWLEDGE FROM PERIL ZULU NATION AUSTRALIA!
whats the part from 3:10. i remember when i was like in 4th grade our pe teacher was having us do a dance unit and he showed us that video as an example. im talking about when the guys are doing splits on the stairs.
@sarubboy what crazy legs said is not far off. This is only 10mins of footage. Imagine all the other stuff not shown here that may have been done in the past that bboys/ bgirls do now. Bboys made up combinations and the style in which the moves are done but a heck of allot of moves have been done before.
Outstanding and Thank You!.. Tell the like it is. Even on Youtube, I come across so many videos label as "New style this or New style that. " This shit has always been around throughout the ages of mankind. Through, there no names to these dances. People just did them.
This is such a dope vid!! This really shows the truth about how dance is such a good combination of many cultures and movement!! Props to the creator of this
cara esse video é fera de mais assim gostaria de saber o nome da musica de fundo e o nome dessas danças antigas dos top rock tenebroso mesmo adorei cada parte do video
This video provoques us the idea that the human body is a network, every individual research on dance, doesn´t matter it´s style of dancing, is on constant dialog with other cultures, other dances, because, it´s just a human being dancing. Today we dance the eras of machine, man an annimals.
Thank you so much for the video!
Please watch the videos I´m doing inspired on detour´s videos. It´s called "brucutu #1" and "brucutu #2", soon I´ll be uploading more videos, please comment!
Very inspiring video, intelligent. It shows an very open minded idea of dance, that comunicates with us, brazilian dancers, and many other dancers of all over the world.
This is an amazingly well edited video. The producer obviously has a deep love of dance and the human family. 5 stars edited video. Yje producer ovbiously has a deep love
I can't believe there are only 4 comments so far. This is a fantastic piece of work. It's not only great for someone who's familiar with breaking, but would make a great educational tool for people who just think that breakdancing is something that hoodlums do.
Seeing the old jazz dancers from the 20s or so doing a full on floor routine blew my mind. Much credit to whoever edited this and thanks to whoever uploaded it. This is the kind of stuff that makes surfing Youtube worth it.

I get it, so break dancing is just ripping off other dances and kangaroos, did you see that kangaroo? that's hilarious, it's like, yeah, all these other dances have been done before but this one move was taken from a kangaroo

People have probably been doing the charleston before anyone decided to give it a name.
