  • Sid Caesar was the inspiration for Victor Borge's skit on verbalizing punctuation marks. For that alone we owe him a debt that could only be repaid with a role in "Silent Movie." For the movie itself, only a messhuginer like Mel Brooks could come up with and sell that idea to some goyishe kopf to finance. Thanks for Gentile Money and Jewish Comedy!
