HI i just wanted to know if i could take night school to upgrade on math from a locally develop to applied, because i wanted to go to a nursing program in college and i have to in college math but right now am in workplace.
@AmbitiousKissez0423 i'm not exactly sure what you're asking, but if you're asking if taking a night class will help you do better in college math courses, then yes it will. but in college there are also tutors that can help you as well when you start taking classes. i hoped that answered your question!
Hi!!! I'm having issues because I didn't get involved with extracurricular activities, but I did volunteer much of my time to charity walks, and helping out with my aunts catering business...does that count??? lol It may sound like a stupid question...
@wannahaveagreattime volunteering is good and it DOES count for something. if youre just going to be a senior this year, try getting into some at school, even if it is small. i would also try possibly volunteering at some other non-profit organization, even if its just for 100 hours. but try to get into something while theres still some time! even if its just a drawing club.
@robyrose okay. thank you!! This answer still gives me hope!!! I'm just so stressed 'cause of college apps, prom, college essays and everything else!!!! Thanks.... :D
well im going to be a senior whenever summer ends.... i am currently stuck at home taking online courses for algebra 2... it is a nightmare, but if i do not pass algebra 2 i don't graduate....i want to go to a community college to start nursing programs, the i want to transfer to a state college, my question is if i get a D in math and i go to a community college, am i going to have trouble transferring to a state college?... also i have not taken any PSAT, ACT, OR SAT test are they required?.
@Julispice7 im really not sure. i wish i could help but i dont go to community college, not even for summer classes. i would definately go online, call or actually go to the cc you're looking into and ask them what they require. and try talking to your high school counselor about what to do. sorry i dont have much information! things do change depending on the school as well. hope i helped you a little bit though
I graduated like 6 years ago... wow... seeing it in print iscrazy...But anyway, I can say one thing, if you don't get many scholarships then don't discount community college for an associates degree. Many community colleges are very highly regarded, and they are amazingly affordable.. Do REALLY well in certain CC"s and applying for a bachelor's program at a 4-8 year down the line may provide more scholarship opportunities... I know... It happend :)
@bobomanthecruzan wow thats really awesome! thanks for that tip! community college is a good idea. ill talk about that in my next college video when i have a chance to film again. thanks again!
@bboygirlX hm... i usually tried to do things as early as possible. even though a paper would be due for a week, i'd start drafting and start thinking about what i was going to write when i first got the assignment, and usually in math they give you homework to do weekly and you do piece by piece by what you learn each day, so start on that when you first get the chance. don't put anything off last minute: even if you have a free 30 minutes, look over notes, it really helps. anything else? :)
<3 Hey Thanks for the advice it really helped im about to be a senoir in high school GO 2011, but im also looking into going to the navy i was wondering if you think i should still apply for collages?
@Chasiry i think you should still apply since you arent sure yet, that way you wont feel rushed to get applications done if you change your mind. so apply and make a decision before March/April. i hope i helped =)
Did you say you are going to Holland?
