I think you got a great deal on the Chinese lathe. I bought a 6mm wolf jahn off ebay, but accessories are like really hard to find and all the collet sizes for it are impossible to find. This lathe has alot of accessories and they all fit. this is what I should have bought.
Is this the lathe version with the longer bed? I noticed that the foot holder is moved more towards center. Would they be any stability issues if it holds the bed at the extremity? Cheers

yes. it is the long bed.
If you put a lot of weight at the end of the bed...all the lathe parts involved with the cutting will move together a bit down..so do not worry.
