Drawing with a mouse like with your hand takes practice. Of course if you sketch that is easier than making it perfect. After sketching use a path tool to even out the lines.

If it helps, GIMP has a burn/dodge tool that you can use to help with shading and toning. There are smear tools too, so you can blend colors and make a transition from one color to another look smooth. There are tons of other tools, but I haven't figured out what some of them do yet...

I need to tell you something on how to color on this... Open up a new layer and make it transparent, then draw on the TRANSPARENT layer. when your finished drawing color on the white layer... THERE IS NO WHITE FUZZ ON THE EDGES I REPEAT THERE IS NO WHITE FUZZ hope you know now.

but there are some flaws.

1) Have confidence, dont use mutiple lines to make a line, juz use a single line :)

2) use a bigger brush to colour your work

3) shading was nice, but show more of the shading and use diffrent tones instead of just 2 :)
