  • wow i think i have seen him out in deep creek before off of san cristabal... i seen him and walked up to him and he didnt even budge he just stared at me for a few seconds and then just slowly walked away

  • beautiful. he's probably eating hte birds and mice at your place so he figures it's a good place to stay

  • he's so cute I wold love to have him

  • Man:Hey there mr.Kitten

    bobcat:RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!

    Man:OH SHITZ!

  • let him get used to human whats so big deal, i mean this is his nature

  • @laverkfc4stitching It is a big deal. This is not like feeding birds. A bobcat has the potential of getting you seriously hurt, so if he gets used to humans feeding him, he will approach other humans for that same purpose. This is a recipe for disaster because misunderstandings and violence will ensue in this encounters. Animals like these always end up getting shot.

  • @Ngooo well oh your making bobcat looks like a tiger or lion, if i just grab a stick and go after him he will run away like a bobcat no doubt lol

  • @laverkfc4stitching You are totally missing the point. A bobcat that is not afraid of humans will not run if you grab a stick. And maybe YOU would keep your cool, but most people freak out when they encounter wild predators, no matter how small they are. This is a fact. Those animals end up being killed by other humans. As soon as the bobcat approaches a toddler, he's done.

  • @Ngooo the entire feeding thing is bs, yes maybe this animal would come back to this location but it would never start going downtown house to house looking for humans with handouts thats a bunch of bs, and bobcat is not going to seriously hurt you, its not a cougar

  • @jallpimp Try telling that is bs to any person that has ever dealt with black bears, and see the answer you're gonna get.And about a bobcat not being able to seriously hurt you,I've seen people that has needed plastic surgery after being attacked by domestic cats. I've seen animal control people getting serious injuries because some out of control cats have the ultimate instinct of grasping you deep with claws and teeth and won't let go.Imagine the same dinamic between a toddler and a bobcat.

  • Loved the vid. I appreciate it..

  • I agree you should't feed him as cool as it may seem! I have caused an animal to be put down cause of it! Enjoy him but no feeding or touching please!

  • i would probaly shit my pants go near him

  • click click boom haha that will fetch 200 bucks where i come from

  • i want to know if you have any idea if he is still in the neighborhood. we have seen one by our house in deep creek on capricorn. just this morning he walked across the road and within 5 ft of our neighbor. it was AMAZING!! it was about 9:30 am and he was coming back from the lake.

  • What inceharus said!

  • Feeding the bobcat would get her too used to human presence. If she approaches another person, she might be shot!

  • so cute!!!!

  • have u heard of mowing your lawn?

  • fantastic ears

  • I think the hole naiborhood feed it

  • You're NOT supposed to FEED them! They are wild! You think they're helping them you're not!

  • bwirth1999 and cobra you dont know what you are talking about he wont bother you as long as you dont corner him thanks for posting maybe these idots can learn something about wildlife

  • @Ranwolfe yeah, could never see feeding a wild animal and getting them used to being around people going bad. Yeah, he probably wont attack an average sized adult that minds their own business, but who knows what might happen if a small child tries pulling on it's ears. You obviously don't have children, or you're a pathetic excuse for a parent.

  • Nice footage!

  • Man i spend days in a hunting blinds waiting trying to get a photo of a bobcat and this guy just comes in your back yard and isnt scared of you.

  • That is so cute! ^^

  • Wow! Very unusual to get that close to a wild Bobcat. Quite a unique experience it must be. Thanks for posting.

  • not to say much dude but thts just stupid

  • i just say one and a baby kitten walking down the road

  • having been attacked once by a crazy domestic house cat which was intent on causing real damage, I know for a fact that kitty could have you for dinner if he wanted to.

  • just seen my first BC in the wild, very cool.

  • You are gonna get someone attacked or killed... Idiot

  • those ears are cool

  • Thanks for letting him share your "territory."

  • If you keep on feeding him, he will get used to humans, which will most probably get him killed!

  • @vincecharus True. Which sucks, because he is so skinny :(

  • That is cool. Incredible animal.

  • Bobcats don't know the difference between giving them food or trying to take it away, that's why he scratched you. He looks to be a healthy 18 lbs and can do a lot of damage to you if he feels in danger. They are extremely fast and there's no way of escaping their grasp once the nails dig in and then they hold you and bite. The growl is just a warning.

Absolutely a beautiful bobcat, The ears are incredible. Do more videos of him and show him fully grown in about 2 more years.

  • "Hey there, Mr. Kitten"

  • you should never feed wild animals

  • Unfortunately he's going to have to learn the hard way when one attacks him or a neighbor because of the food/human contact.

  • @betta144

You should never make blanket statements.

  • thats true..... bobcats are beautyful and amazing animals..... i did a speech on them... Bobcats are my favourite animals.

  • ok so let this amezing animal to be alone..

    beautiful cat...

florida should be proud to have this animal in

    the state of florida..

  • This guy eats small rodents. There are plenty of them around. He's never gone after any of the local dogs, he runs away from even the smallest of them, but I think he's laughing. He also leaves the local house cats alone, he just has no interest. They are terrified.

squirrels and rabbits, mostly. I've seen him take a squirrel. He's deadly.

    Doug

  • up in CT these things eat out pets

    O.o

  • let that bobcat come up to north florida and see what happens to him... they are cute but not eating chickens and atacking my baby goats.

  • bobcats are everywhere in the U.S, kind of like how raccoons and skunks are. Besides bobcats are from being an endangered speices, actually their thriving in Urban America.

  • Looks like a young one.

  • Interesting. But you should learn how to hold the camera still.

  • What an idiot! Why are you feeding him? Two years from now, how will you feel when your dog or kid is mauled? How will you feel when this beautiful animal is shot or hit by a car? That's gonna be your fault, Mosleyband. That cat needs to hunt, capture and kill its food, not eat whatever you happen to have in your pocket! The bobcat is not nearly terrified enough of humans!

  • what an idiot! doesn't even see the video before commenting on it!

  • I watched & listened 3 times. Are you saying feeding a bobcat in your backyard is going to keep it wild? Even if it comes out of the woods to sun itself or nap in your backyard doesn't mean you are supposed to feed junk food. You are contributing to the delinquency of a wild animal. It will grow up knocking over trash cans, eating dog food, or jumping on some poor little old lady, and the cat will be either shot by a sherriff or darted and euthanized by animal control. Please explain yourself.
