@TheMcBrawl It isn't fake, at the time of the video the spawn damage was physical (now it's true damage, therefore you can't reduce it). So he reduces the damage for like 75%. takin like 150 damage per second and he has like 4k health.

I believe Randuins used to give 90 armor and much more cooldown reduction. This made it a better item for tanking the laser than the 100 armor on thornmail.

Just flash into the middle of their swapn and you get glorious 8 seconds to deal as much damage to them as you like.

Sure, you need to die for this, but I know a Karthus who likes to finish Games dead in the enemy spawn, bursting down one or two of them just before the nexus explodes.

Thanks for all the comments guys! I believe that I might have been able to tank the turret forever if I had sold my boots and one randuins for a deathcap/hourglass. Throw a baron buff on top of that and with the extra AP I might have been able to possibly heal for my entire health bar each time. It's a shame we can't test it anymore :(
