7. In the past few years the Big 12 has tried to show that we are just as good a conference as the SEC. The problem is every time we play an SEC team in a bowl we lose. OU has lost to 2 SEC teams in the past 5 years which is making it harder for us to prove ourselves if teams like OU keep choking in their bowls.
1. What do you mean your non conference is tough. Tulsa? Idaho State? Miami? BYU is only ranked because of having a decent record last year. Yes Texas plays crap teams too, but nobody in the Big 12 has a good non conference.

Tech was the better team on that day. They are not the better team in general. If that game isn't in Lubbock it is probably a different story. Tech outplayed UT and pulled ridiculous energy from the home crowd. Tech earned that win, fair and square. But if they play in a neutral site, they don't win.

Tech had 190 yards more of total offense than UT. TTU had 4 sacks/UT 2. TTU 8 tackles for a loss/UT 4. An NFL scout told me after the game without a few big plays from UT, they would have lost by 2 & 1/2 TDs. One area where UT was clearly better was in the punting/kicking category. Other than that, Tech dominated. The numbers prove it. Frankly, UT was outplayed. End of story.
colt mccoy once again showed why he should win the heisman. by himself brought texas back and ahead. i wouldnt call this game a drawback for huim at all. he had an off half and a stellar half. he is th most well rounded QB in the nation and did everything within his power to win. McCoy for heisman!

i think you meant Chris Brown, not Chris Harris. and we have a guy named Jermie Calhoun, he was the #2 RB out of highschool and he will probly the our #1 RB when Demarco leaves. he avg. 10 yards a carry in highschool. and we have one the top QB's in this years recruiting class named Blake Bell. OU is a powerhouse, and will always replace the people that leave, unlike Tech. we might have a rebuilding year, but we will always be good.

At least this young man actualy went to Texas, half the yard birds who cry "UT...Hookem" have never even set foot in Austin much less the UT campus. I went to and love Tech...My guns are always up, just as UT Alum...You have my respect and if I ever meet you in the street someday I will flash you 'horns'. This was a game between two very talented teams, and with these teams you never know who's going to win. That's what's great about Texas college football.

Tech was the better team on that day. They are not the better team in general. If that game isn't in Lubbock it is probably a different story. Tech outplayed UT and pulled ridiculous energy from the home crowd. Tech earned that win, fair and square. But if they play in a neutral site, they don't win.

Tech had 190 yards more of total offense than UT. TTU had 4 sacks/UT 2. TTU 8 tackles for a loss/UT 4. An NFL scout told me after the game without a few big plays from UT, they would have lost by 2 & 1/2 TDs. One area where UT was clearly better was in the punting/kicking category. Other than that, Tech dominated. The numbers prove it. Frankly, UT was outplayed. End of story.
