  • WOW!! I enjoyed watching that!! Now that's what I call express service....lol :D

  • That was so cool

  • Great Video, 5 Stars! Check out my driver’s eye view of the Bekonscot Model Railway!

  • I was hoping to see the entire run. But what you put here was indeed cool and fun. I did get the DVD and was quite impressed. I work for a shortline in Kansas and seeing the line and surface of this line makes me just a bit envious

  • narrow guage intercity 125

  • Narrow Gauge bullet trains

  • What fun! I am surprised that there is not any noticable shake. Are those car noises for the train starting and stopping?

  • @Borealia Glad you like it. The silly noises were added for fun. We are in the process of making a new, high quality version of the Driver's Eye View DVDs which will include all of the Welsh Highland from Caernarfon to Porthmadog and the Ffestiniog from Porthmadog to Blaenau Ffestiniog. Once we have all of that filmed I'm sure we will do a Caernarfon to Blaenau high speed run.

  • excellent 5* and a favourite!

  • What approximately is the speed-up rate? x10?

  • Hello

It is sped up 16 times.

    hope you like it

  • Love the video especially the soundtrack.

  • Great video, but made me disy!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:15 car noise round a bend!

  • Nice!Imagine the noise EOM would make going that fast!!!

  • Never thought that I would nearly get travel sick from a video! I'm sure that the engine (wasn't it the Earl on the drivers eye view) would look a sight moving at 200mph round the vale!!

  • The high speed run was indeed not shot this year. The DVD which it is an extra on was shot entirely this year.

  • Where can I buy this?

  • What was the loco hauling the down train at Tanybwlch, just as the ride stopped?

  • It was the Funkey Diesel 'Vale of Ffestiniog'

    Glad you liked the trip!

  • Cheers! I used to be a regular visitor to the FR and was once a society member, when I had a holiday home in Barmouth. But circumstances brought an end to all that and now I only make an odd appearance at Porthmadog.

Thanks for setting me straight; keep it up!

  • ZOMG! 200mph speed, LOL! Just buy a bullet train, convert it to FR tracks and you're done!

    Smashing stuff!

  • Nice!

  • Blooming marvellous, I shall purchase several as Christmas gifts for the people I love.

  • i went to this railway and it was great!

But i didn't get to ride on Prince because he was havin a boiler inspection but i saw him in the workshop or the sheds

But i did ride on Blanche!
