idk y everyone uses funkey but its the weight class that matters i use bowser 4 time trials wid flame runner but in usual races i use dry bones wid magicruiser

if you closely compare funky kong and bowser on the same bike you will notice i very small increase in the speed - likewise with toadette and dry bones (off-road)

i thought the characters are only for aesthetics..and the only performances come from the kart/bike you use and the weight class (light, medium, heavy)...

so why does funky get picked the most? isnt he just like all the other heavyweights? and it only depends on the bike/kart ?

funky gives a bigger speed bonus than all the other heavy characters. that's why he is used for most of the WRs.
