Guys...like this was literally the FIRST dbz thing i saw. I was in third grade, and my bought this from the store. We fired it up, and this was the first song that started...man hearing Bardock's iconic yells toward frieza..seeing him give his all against the evil tyrant..that moment where cooler first reveals himself..wow i was hooked from the first guitar riff. Cooler's revenge introduced me to Dragon Ball, Drowing Pool, and anime in general. and if i could do it all over again? I would.

Without a doubt DBZ is the best anime out there......ever!! Yes I said EVER!! W/O DBZ the anime generation would not be what it is today. I have my own favorites list of anime but DBZ will always be in a class of it's own due to it's sheer impact to the anime genre and what it's done for it's popularity. DBZ is the greatest anime ever!! Anyone who's got a problem with that obviously has not been watching anime for long or is just a plain idiot. Even new anime fans give credit where it;s due!

@LyteWings777 it's the best anime, but I don't really like the plot, Vegeta was under rated, Adult Gohan was no where near as bad ass as teen Gohan, Future Trunks should've stayed a little longer in the series, and Goku should've got more moves besides kamehameha, I think a few more saiyans should've came back or survived besides Broly and Paragus, and I think Broly should've got a ssj3... but over all the anime/series itself was good.. The Frieza Saga had the most well thought out plot IMOP....

@StreamerVideo Can't argue with anything you said. As I said after my little rant and rave about how I said it is the best ever, I only meant that it kick-started the anime generation into overdrive. Before DBZ not many ppl knew about anime (especially in the U.S.) but after DBZ and Toonami it really got going. Then came adult swim and the rest is history. I do stick by what I said about DBZ though. It certainly deserves to be in it's own class.
