My heart goes out to poor Christa - she did all this training and was looking forward to travelling into space. You can see how excited she is. However it never happened. I know Barbara M went into space years later - did she go up as a teacher in space? Did she manage to teach any lessons up there?
@ftegger4347899 she went up as a mission specialist who happened to be a teacher. if you look on youtube here for her name, you will see the lessons that she taught...however she was confined to the space station, and because of the complexity of the filmingm couldnt move around much.
