gosh, 3:31 minutes for a waste of time, i can explain that in steps:

1.download a skin or create one

2.go to c:/users/user/appdata/roaming/­.minecraft/bin

3.open minecraft.jar with winrar or zip and replace the png img thats named "char" to the one you want to change to.

4.close winrar and run minecraft - your skin is changed

Hey everyone if ur skin is white then go in ur minecraft folder go to mobs and there should be a char.png file delete if theres more than one make sure it's not char.png.png that made my skin white make sure u have custom skin only and there u go!!!
