Also, Messages reveals Masky's identity, something that Masky, as shown in 33 does NOT want Jay to know. Why would he reveal that info only to then attack Jay when he gets just another bit of evidence to prove the identity.

But I honestly know that the entries are fake, no need of confirmation, because in entry 19, slender man pops up about a minute or so after he goes to bed, unless he was really tired. Now when Jay went to the house, totheark had a seizure. Could the pills be seizure medication? If so, could Tim be totheark? AGAIN, im just brain storming
Can I attempt to blow everyone's mind by suggesting that Entry 22's house exploration takes place just before Entry 10? Also, at the end of Entry 22, Alex specifically says "All of the tapes" are to be burned. Why is this tape hidden way up in the tower away from the others then? What's so special about it? Quite simply, the footage of the house may have been important. Whatever approached Alex at the end of that entry, could have taken the tape right there and then, before stashing it.
And Masky had that seizure, which means that he's been around SM for a while, right? So what if your sickness gets worse and worse the longer you're around him, like first coughs and blackouts then memory loss, finally seizures, etc. Maybe it's sort of changing him? Could explain why he could "hear" sm if my theory below holds any weight.
Perhaps ToTheArk's video's are a way for Slenderman to "speak"? I know it's really reaching, but when Slenderman became aware that Alex was back and in the Return video, "Found you" appeared. Perhaps that was Slenderman and Totheark can somehow "hear" him and then add it to video?? Purely speculation, mind you.
I am letting you all know. I sat down with 2 friends who love this series as much as me last night. We had come up with 2 theories, purely speculative, days before. We wanted to watch them again to see how our theories could have worked in context to what we have seen so far.
You have no idea how intelligent these filmmakers are. There are clues you never would have dreamed of in these videos and I am going to start an analysis series to post our findings.
At 1:40, when his head is bleeding look to the left. on his forehead where his hair is parted slightly. You'll notice two scratches that look like they come from an elongated X similar to those that he draws on the faces in his drawings.
J starts coughing in the same hallway that Tim was coughing in, both when he falls over in 16 and then again during his fight with Masky in 18. This looks like the same hallway that TTA's "Return" video was filmed in as well (and J(?) was lying in the corner by the door, where he found that doll). Can't help but feel there's something important about that hallway.
(cont) a couple things, their is a patio outside the door in 1 that we don't see in 16 and 18 and the walls are different. So with all this information I'm led to think that Alex became so afraid in his house that he went to stay either with Brian, or in his house while he was away. My thought is backed up by the fact that Alex seems to be sleeping on a mattress rather then a bed in 11 and 14 leading you to think that it's just a temporary thing.
We know that 16 and 18 feature the same house. If you look closely at the details in the hall way and the furniture it appears that its the same house that is featured in 20. In entry 20 you'll notice that Alex says they are in Brian's house, however, in 11 and 14 it appears that Alex is sleeping in this house. But then take a look at entries 1 and 3. Both show Alex in what I assume is his house. This house doesn't match with the house shown in the rest of the entries because of

theres another story on you tube some guy logan got a note book from a friend who died in iraq he had severe mental issues and had litte drawings of slenderman then logan became alittle crazy then he went missing his freind joshua found the notbook didnt wanna do anything about it so he gave it to a smart person who is figuring out the messegas then logan is sending letters to people to warn them that slenderman is coming after them also the smart guy is working with j to find our wtf going on
i think that tim is masky. look at the jacket he is wearing in entry 21, its the same jacket masky is wearing when he is in jays room in entry 19. then another thing that is weird is tim is holding those pills that went missing. im not completly sure but i think those pills have a big part of it. but now that alex says he will burn them and move back home that is the last of alexs videos. now it will just be with jay and his comments? maybe?
In the introduction, J says that he asked Alex what he was going to do with the tapes. "His reply, 'Burn them'." Then J convinces Alex to give him the tapes instead of burning them. So this video is from right before then. The more mysterious thing is how Alex "lost" everyone (Brian, Tim, J). We know that they're definitely alive, so Slendy (or someone) must have done something to them mentally (memory loss?).
well he also mentions that alex was VERY reluctant giving them to him. another possibility is that the tape is recent and that alex is saying he is going to burn them from jay? oh well a bit late now that theyre all on youtube.
This is what I was wondering. Alex says he's "lost" everyone...Sounds like to me they were all in this place or together somewhere. Why then would Alex agree to give Jay the tapes if they were that serious?
I don't think Alex would have so easily given the tapes to Jay, knowing what was one them.
ok in 20 he has the same pill bottle j found in 16. in 20 he was coughing roght before he to the pill. in 18 when tim was having a seizure maybe it was a reaction to not having his medicine he had in 20. that was why the pill bottle was empty in 19.5.
TTA's ears are Tim's. Him has a little bubble thingy for an earlobe. Just watch Entry 20 and you'll know what I'm talking about. In Entry 19, TTA has the same earlobe thing.

Maybe ToTheArk is Alex. He's trying to capture Slender Man, or like, trying to finish it once and for all. He's going to try and use Jay as bait, and as some people have suggested, Masked Man is Brian, and he's trying to help Jay. But anyway, I'm done for now. I need to get some sleep. :P
I take back what I said.... I'm a total dufus. In 18, when ToTheArk, is on the floor, there's no sideburns. What I saw in 19 must have been shadows. Now I'm leaning towards Brian, though the ears still don't match...
Also, I started looking at ToTheArk's latest response called Return, and Jay is sitting exactly where he found the Slender Man doll. Significant? I think so. Also, if you look at entry 19, notice what Jay is wearing. It's the same clothes he's wearing in Return. So this pretty much explains where Jay was during those three hours.
I'm going to assume that TTA is the masked man. But in any case, I'm 80% that TTA/Masked Man is Tim. I paused in in entry 19, when the masked man was close to the camera, and I started looking at it closely. There's a hint of sideburns, but more importantly, his earlobes are unattached. The only other person that I've noticed, after looking closely at the entries, with earlobes that are noticeably unattached, is Tim.
maybe TTA is masky tryin to protect J from slendy? or totheark is alex tryin to give J a clue as to his whereabouts because in halo 3 the ark is in africa so alex may have fled to africa
if you notice in #17 in the back i believe theres a tall figure, Slender Man possibly? it's scary as fuck & it keeps swaying sideways. i almost cried watching this video. these videos are seriously myteries. like who is the masked dude?! & what happened to Alex?! GAH! D;
It seems to me like Slenderman is the good guy in this. If you look at Alex's drawings and what he writes, they seem to be about Slenderman. In Entry 8, where Alex is writing, he starts writing "Hel-" and stops. I think he was about to write "Helps Me". It fits in with the pattern of the other things he has written.
I must say that entry 18 scared the FUCK out of me when SM (I think it was him, anyway) ran at Alex's friend. (Can't remember his name. x.x) Not to mention when he was playing it back and you could see the face perfectly. Damn is this shit scary. o_o

I've got more theories on this freaky shit now. Maybe totheark took Jay and put him in the hall to lure out Slender Man. Maybe that's why totheark replied with "found you," because he found Slender Man. But why would Slender Man be following Jay in the first place?
There are some things that make it seem fake and some that make it seem real. Slender Man originated from somethingawful, though. That's what makes me think it's fake. But these guys are obviously freaked, or they're REALLY good at acting. 18 was screwed up. 19's messed up too. Anyone see it yet?

I don't believe that the masked man is anyone previously mentioned. I don't even think he is a person, really. The way I see it, whoever is involved with whatever it is that is causing this gets a sort of doppelganger who follows them. For Alex is was the Suited Man, and for Jay it's ToTheArk.
Also, did anyone ever think that maybe totheark is one of the people who only show up rarely in the series? Totheark could easily be the girl or the unnamed camera guy from Entry # 9.
Now this might be pushing it, but there is a common element in entry 17, 18 and 19, that I don't think anyone had gone into much detail about. Memory loss. In 18 and 19, I think it's safe to say that the mased man is responsible for the loss of memory that J had. But the masked man wasn't in 17...or was he? The two other people aside from J in entry 17 were Tim and Alex. So I beleive that the masked man is definitely one of them.
That's a good theory. I never really thought about the whole memory loss thing but you could be right...however, with that factor in mind, totheark can't be Tim. Tim was in entry #15 and J remembered everything from that. So this means totheark is either Alex or Brian...
I don't think the masked man was attacking J in entry 18. For some reason I believe that the reason the maked man bolted @ J in 18 was because(maybe) SM was near him/about to get him. I mean we really can't tell what happened @ the house, after the masked man ran @ the camera. Some people say that there was another person in entry 18, but I can't really see any evidence of that. Anyway, I still don't understand how the masked man ended up on the floor in a siezure like state in 18.

Dude, what freaked me out was that hen the tape started getting really distorted, I paused it and saw that his face was super close to the camera, staring into it. Then it goes back to normal and everyone's gone.
I think that the masked man(whoever it may be) is trying to watch over J and maybe protect him from Slender Man. With that said, I believe that when J was absent for 3 hours(in entry 19), the masked man moved him somewhere safe from Slender Man. Then brought him back when it was safe.
the thing about making theories relating to marble hornets is there always seems to be something to contradict it. many people think totheark is alex, and same thing about the purpose of the masked man. if he was protecting him, why did he attack in entry 18? but if he wanted to hurt him, why isn't he hurt by now? so much mystery!
Alex = totheark? He could be trying to stop Jay from bringing back Slender Man OR he could be trying to stop Slender Man from hurting Jay.
Tim = totheark? He could be stopping Jay from bringing back the events that made Alex go nuts, be trying to stop Slender Man from hurting Jay OR he's an innocent bystander.
Brian = TTA? GOD only knows. Also, does TTA cause distortion or does SL? If TTA causes distortion, why did he have a seizure in Brian's house?

I think that this whole thing was made to prank alex and the people involved would be Tim, Brian, and Sara. I don't think J knew about it, my theory is based on the fact that his actors really didn't like how he was directing this film. TTA can only be Tim, Sara, or Brian based on other entries where J and Alex weren't able to be TTA.

J starts coughing in the same hallway that Tim was coughing in, both when he falls over in 16 and then again during his fight with Masky in 18. This looks like the same hallway that TTA's "Return" video was filmed in as well (and J(?) was lying in the corner by the door, where he found that doll). Can't help but feel there's something important about that hallway.

(cont) a couple things, their is a patio outside the door in 1 that we don't see in 16 and 18 and the walls are different. So with all this information I'm led to think that Alex became so afraid in his house that he went to stay either with Brian, or in his house while he was away. My thought is backed up by the fact that Alex seems to be sleeping on a mattress rather then a bed in 11 and 14 leading you to think that it's just a temporary thing.

The House
We know that 16 and 18 feature the same house. If you look closely at the details in the hall way and the furniture it appears that its the same house that is featured in 20. In entry 20 you'll notice that Alex says they are in Brian's house, however, in 11 and 14 it appears that Alex is sleeping in this house. But then take a look at entries 1 and 3. Both show Alex in what I assume is his house. This house doesn't match with the house shown in the rest of the entries because of

i think that tim is masky. look at the jacket he is wearing in entry 21, its the same jacket masky is wearing when he is in jays room in entry 19. then another thing that is weird is tim is holding those pills that went missing. im not completly sure but i think those pills have a big part of it. but now that alex says he will burn them and move back home that is the last of alexs videos. now it will just be with jay and his comments? maybe?

In the introduction, J says that he asked Alex what he was going to do with the tapes. "His reply, 'Burn them'." Then J convinces Alex to give him the tapes instead of burning them. So this video is from right before then. The more mysterious thing is how Alex "lost" everyone (Brian, Tim, J). We know that they're definitely alive, so Slendy (or someone) must have done something to them mentally (memory loss?).

Alright, I'm on a roll. I don't think ToTheArk is actually the masked man. In ToTheArk's video, Addition, that's the Masked Man getting up after his seizure/encounter with Jay. Maybe ToTheArk is Alex. He's trying to capture Slender Man, or like, trying to finish it once and for all. He's going to try and use Jay as bait, and as some people have suggested, Masked Man is Brian, and he's trying to help Jay. But anyway, I'm done for now. I need to get some sleep. :P

Also, I started looking at ToTheArk's latest response called Return, and Jay is sitting exactly where he found the Slender Man doll. Significant? I think so. Also, if you look at entry 19, notice what Jay is wearing. It's the same clothes he's wearing in Return. So this pretty much explains where Jay was during those three hours.

I'm going to assume that TTA is the masked man. But in any case, I'm 80% that TTA/Masked Man is Tim. I paused in in entry 19, when the masked man was close to the camera, and I started looking at it closely. There's a hint of sideburns, but more importantly, his earlobes are unattached. The only other person that I've noticed, after looking closely at the entries, with earlobes that are noticeably unattached, is Tim.

It seems to me like Slenderman is the good guy in this. If you look at Alex's drawings and what he writes, they seem to be about Slenderman. In Entry 8, where Alex is writing, he starts writing "Hel-" and stops. I think he was about to write "Helps Me". It fits in with the pattern of the other things he has written.

so slender man or even now TTA, cause audio distortion and loss memory, but this lost of memory havent happen in frist entries, when YES Alex was there and the audio was distortioned, so i don't think of alex being the slender man, nor TTA. maybe memory loss means TTA, and audio distortion means slender man, maybe in entry 18 there were both in that house.

I don't believe that the masked man is anyone previously mentioned. I don't even think he is a person, really. The way I see it, whoever is involved with whatever it is that is causing this gets a sort of doppelganger who follows them. For Alex is was the Suited Man, and for Jay it's ToTheArk.

Now this might be pushing it, but there is a common element in entry 17, 18 and 19, that I don't think anyone had gone into much detail about. Memory loss. In 18 and 19, I think it's safe to say that the mased man is responsible for the loss of memory that J had. But the masked man wasn't in 17...or was he? The two other people aside from J in entry 17 were Tim and Alex. So I beleive that the masked man is definitely one of them.

That's a good theory. I never really thought about the whole memory loss thing but you could be right...however, with that factor in mind, totheark can't be Tim. Tim was in entry #15 and J remembered everything from that. So this means totheark is either Alex or Brian...

I don't think the masked man was attacking J in entry 18. For some reason I believe that the reason the maked man bolted @ J in 18 was because(maybe) SM was near him/about to get him. I mean we really can't tell what happened @ the house, after the masked man ran @ the camera. Some people say that there was another person in entry 18, but I can't really see any evidence of that. Anyway, I still don't understand how the masked man ended up on the floor in a siezure like state in 18.

I think that the masked man(whoever it may be) is trying to watch over J and maybe protect him from Slender Man. With that said, I believe that when J was absent for 3 hours(in entry 19), the masked man moved him somewhere safe from Slender Man. Then brought him back when it was safe.

Alex = totheark? He could be trying to stop Jay from bringing back Slender Man OR he could be trying to stop Slender Man from hurting Jay.
Tim = totheark? He could be stopping Jay from bringing back the events that made Alex go nuts, be trying to stop Slender Man from hurting Jay OR he's an innocent bystander.
Brian = TTA? GOD only knows. Also, does TTA cause distortion or does SL? If TTA causes distortion, why did he have a seizure in Brian's house?

I think that this whole thing was made to prank alex and the people involved would be Tim, Brian, and Sara. I don't think J knew about it, my theory is based on the fact that his actors really didn't like how he was directing this film. TTA can only be Tim, Sara, or Brian based on other entries where J and Alex weren't able to be TTA.
