  • Who's the doucheback the disliked this video!?.. Really nice video. Thanks!

  • thank you very much, this is a great stretching routine. will definately help with my taekwondo

  • would you stretch before training? after training? or both?

  • @BigBoyBato

    both

    before will help warm up

after, this way you will feel less pain the next days hihi ^^

    I'm doing taekwondo.

  • Thank you for posting. I will incorporate these stretching techniques into my routine.

  • Hi! I found this video interesting.. hmm.. i just want to ask something about the spinning hook kick.. i really want to know how to do it perfectly.. what is the most used stretching for that kick? so i can kick high and i can stretch my leg more..

    Thank you in advance.. :)

  • @MasterZordic

for spinning hook kick, learn to shift your upper torso fast from the shoulders and whip your kick in an arc, make sure to go on the ball of your lead foot as you turn. Any stretch that focuses on the hamstring, quads and lower back should help. follow the routine in the videos. There is an old schhol / new school way of throwing the hook kick...narrow version (new) or wide version (old). Thanks for watching.

  • will this help doing side kicks and high kicks?

  • @fgfgfgfgfg20

Absolutely!! Besides stretching learn to do leg extensions holding on to some type of support for balance and practice the basic mechanics of kicking holding each position of the technique (EX Side Kick: Lift knee, chamber, extend kick and hold for few seconds, while concentrating body positioning)

  • really what i have been looking for brilliant

  • Thank you as an above the knee amputee with current leg injuries; can use some of the stretches you have given when I'm in a better place with my injuries for recovery; as I too am familiar of the way of the water.

  • Great vid, whats that song ur playing?

  • aight. thnx man. i'll see how it goes after a few weeks heh

  • If you were inspired by martial arts, but had poor/average flexibility. Would you be able to do this excersise more then three times a week, but 4 or 5? Also how long would you have to do this excersise to be able to kick and reach head level? it is much appreciated if i recieved some answers. ty.

  • you can do these everyday if you'd like, I've never had any problems. Just be sure to use discretion as I don't know how flexible you are or if you have any injuries of sort. Always start with easy stretches that you will be capable of. As for kicking to head level, it varies with each person, depending on how their body adapts to stretching and kicking high. Good Luck.

  • great vid!! this what i need..

thank u so much mister!! XD

    im close to full-stretch...

like 3 inch more to be in the ground!

    thank u so much!

  • I think these stretchin es are advanced !!

  • I've been doing these stretches for 5 months and everytime I do the exercise on 1:20 my knees hurt, and it's not the muscle on my legs that hurts.. Maybe the ligaments i don't know. XD What seems to be the problem?

  • I've been doing these stretches for 5 months and everytime I do the exercise on 1:20 my knees hurt, and it's not the muscle on my legs that hurts.. Maybe the ligaments i don't know. XD What seems to be the problem? --> me too dude

  • Let me ask this, the straight leg or the bent one? I'm assuming it's the bent knee. Regardless, try to do a few minutes of knee rotations and/or knee bends to lubricate your joints. If going too far down hurts too much try half or 1/4 of the way. All in all start slow and go as far as comfortable for you. Hope this helps.

  • how exactly do u do knee rotations and or bends cuz im havin the same problem as watahface

  • actually it's just my right straight knee, no problem w/ the left straight or bent. when i stretch my right knee straight some unknown pain occurs. It's like cutting my knee lengthwise

  • best stretching video for mma or any martial arts on the NET! awesome vids!

  • i got the same shoes for taekwondo

  • Great vid man...hopefully it will help me in shotokan karate :D

  • Great vids....

What kind of warm up routine do you do before doing these stretches.... do you use shorter streches, muscle contraction or anything to warm up, or u do this after a training session og just without a whole lot of warm up?

  • how long wuld it take to notice i have better flexibility if i do this 4 times a week?

  • about 4-6 months it depends how much work you put into it

  • i think this is one, if not actually the best video of this type that ive seen so far. ive been looking soooo long for a vid like this and now i finally found it :D thx a lot man, keep posting ;)
