However, I have relatives in 4 different countries, so I frequently hear the outside perspective :P It's interesting how similar people are all over the world. People get too caught up on differences to realize that our motivations in life are really the same.

Cultures and values are different but ultimately people do not fight for the sake of fighting; there's always more to the story. I agree: the US (and Pak) have problems but they need to be fixed, not destroyed. It bothers me when I hear people so callously talking about killing and destroying. I enjoyed reading your posts!
