@robdadjoefirst of all dude, the wall is based on roger waters experiences as a child. Not SYD Barrets. the only reflection of syd is on pinks character and his transformation into the dictator. Syd shaved his eyebrows and his body hair but it was roger waters who went thru some shit. Syd Barret lost it because he took acid like everyday. so u grow up before u try to shit on someone on youtube.

This is what happend after sid could hardly hold a conversation anyone..He knew himself he didn't fit in anymore and just walked off in the rain on day feb 68..There is a lot of guilt in the floyd when the songs are about sid..No one seen or heard from him..Until years later a fat bald man in trench coat with a tooth brush in his pocket came in during shine on you crazy diamond.Just standing there? No one knew who this guy was,'Roger fell to tears..Roger told the others think about it? It's sid!

If you want to know what the hotel floor scene is about, take a normal human and feed them heavy amphetamines for 7 or more days and this pattern is expected. It's not the drugs alone but the sleep depravation in combo.. Sad Deal.. That's what Syd was most likely in and you are quite out of touch including the shaving of body hair..

The dog's name being nigger seems racist now, but that film (The Dam Busters) was made in 1955, when use of the word nigger would have been more socially acceptable, and it is based on true events. The dog named Nigger actually existed, belonging to RAF 617 Squadron CO Guy Gibson during WWII.
