To anyone wondering: Burdock is a vegetable and its roots are a popular food item in most of Asia. It's not often used in European cuisine, but the plants head is well known for sticking in your clothes (takiainen for any Finnish people reading this). Italian Americans might know the plant as well since cardune is made from burdock stems.

There is a fizzy drink called 'Dandelion and Burdock' in the UK. I remember it from my childhood. It was very much an acquired taste. I last saw some in Blackpool about ten years ago. It was still horrible. I'm a big fan of the veggie instruments by the way - astonishing!
