Only those lost lao Esan ppl would said that coz they Esan ppl are caught up between lao n thai. The Esan ppl have lao blood and thai citizen so they are lost lao ppl. See, most of the Esan ppl used laos nationality to get out from thai poverty so they can come to U.S n other countries. Yet why is it almost every lao person I meet always say they're either thai or half thai and laos... as if they're ashamed to be laos or full laos? I don't get it? Lao people should be proud of themselves. The thais are the ones who should be ashamed for talking down on all their neighbors. First of all, their country wasn't even theirs to begin with! IMO, Lao and Tai are homogeneity. When were the words Lao and Tai emerge I'm not sure. But it rater that "Lao" were become the name of our race (Lao+Tai) which happened before the word "Tai" right? So, I'm a person who resist to use the word "Lao" in the meaning of bad way in Thailand since I was Fifteen.

(I just know that in a fews month since I was interested in the truth of our race). Now, In my house I have the book of Lao and Tai and humanization more than my field. I'm not an antropologist but I'm Microbiologist and I'm a scientist. I hope in the near future we (Thail Laos) will have the cooperation together to find the root of our race.

By doing that, you will suffer and therefore will not have peace of mind.
The people that look down or talk bad down on other people are themselfs ignorant and insecure. That is they feel they are better than some other people in someways. They truth is that is not true. Anyone provided with the right conditions and resources can be just as good or developed.
